I can erase your messages,
And all of the pictures we took together.
I can ignore you,
And pretend like you don't exist.
I can act like you don't bother me,
Or that you never will.
I can steer clear of all of our favorite places to get away,
That used to be only my places to escape.
I can try to fix,
What you've ruined.
But it takes time,
And though I may heal,
I will never forget;
The sweet sensation of your lips upon my own,
And your hands on my hips,
And the way you would tell me how much you loved me.
But Mostly I will never forget the way you lied about it all.
