JJ AND GRACIE used to be joint at the hip, inseparable some may say. That was until Gracie's life spiralled out of control when her parents died of unknown causes. She didn't know what else to do other than move to figure eight with her brother, using the fortune their parents left behind. Gracie had disappeared for the whole summer.
To the Pogues, they understood why and gave her the space she needed, but this created a drift in the groups dynamic. They awaited her arrival, and when she finally returns, Gracie somehow gets herself dragged into the Pogues' mess of a treasure hunt, only to find out she played a much bigger part in it.
Of course the Pogues were happy to have her back, especially JJ, but it seemed as if they needed her help with whatever they had gotten themselves into. Gracie finds herself thrust back into the world she pushed into her past, facing not only old friendships, but lingering feelings for the boy whom she was in love with.
