"so you're telling me you guys got into an argument," chan questioned, brushing felix's hair back away from his forehead.

they were currently in felix's room. when chan had taken the two littles home, they ran around crazy until they tired themselves out. jisung ended up falling asleep right next to felix on the bed, but for the sake of the older boys having a conversation with one another, chan moved jisung to the guest bedroom with one of felix's many night lights.

"yes," minho said, nodding his head aggressively.

"and she made you mad & you left," chan wanted to make sure he got everything right.

"she tried starting more problems & that's why i left. & i sure as hell will not be going back home tonight."

"fair enough," chan said with a purposeful pout on his face, shrugging his shoulders. "is there anything else you'd like to talk about?"

felix shifted uncomfortably in chan's arm, letting out a whine that showed just how uncomfortable the boy felt.

"i'd love to talk about why you're alway here with felix at night," minho raised an eyebrow.

"i meant about the jiyeon argument, stupid. we can talk about felix after, okay?"

"fine, fine," minho sighed, shaking his head a bit, remembering all the things jiyeon said. the thing that pissed him off more than anything was the way jiyeon called jisung a problem.

who the hell says that these days?

but beyond those words, what bothered him more was how she claimed she was helping minho realise his feelings.

did she actually think she was helping? how stupid.

minho's feelings weren't anyone else but his own to figure out. he didn't need jiyeon's help. he didn't want her help.

yet, at the same time, minho couldn't help but wonder if maybe, somehow, jiyeon was right.

does he like jisung like that?

he wasn't sure. he needed someone else's opinion.

he looked up at chan, ready to tell the boy jiyeon's words. he was hoping that chan would disagree. not because he didn't want to like jisung, but because it meant jiyeon was right. that she wouldn't be the only one to see such 'obvious' feelings.

"jiyeon told me she thinks my concern for jisung is more than just... normal concern," minho said awkwardly.

"do you mind explaining more in depth? did she say anything more," chan asked. he had begun to rub the younger's back, rocking back & forth as he noticed how rigid the small boy's breathing had become. he was worried he was going to wake up & terrify his cousin.

"well, she basically said that she thinks that i like jisung more than just a friend."

chan stayed quiet for a long moment after, thinking about what he had just said while also trying to soothe the younger boy from his night terror. this forced minho to speak once more.

"she thinks she's helping me realise my feelings. like fuck her for that."

it was then that minho realised how mad he was. he had never cursed out anyone close to him.

"s-sorry, i didn't mean to say that," he apologised.

"don't apologise to me. you have every right to express how you're feeling right now. i get it, you're angry. i'm not here to limit you from venting," chan simply said, still rocking back & forth.
