CHAPTER 8

I am going on a date with XAVIER FREAKING KNIGHT.

I am freaking the freak-out.

He looked so sad when he thought I left him on read on purpose... I mean I did but not in the way he thought.

I am so excited but also nervous. Where are we going? What do I wear? I don't know anything.

So, I text him.

'Hey. I was just wondering where we were going :D' and now I wait... it was currently 3 PM so I got home not too long ago.

'That's a surprise, Muffin. If you were wondering; Wear something casual but comfortable.' He answers, and I chuckle. I like how he had an idea about what I wanted to know. It was cute.

'Alright perfect :)' I close my phone after he likes the message and start to clean up my apartment.

I pick up my phone and call Ash.

"Hey, bitch. What's up?" she greets from the other line.

"I have a date with Xavier Knight-" I get cut off.

"I'm on my way," and then she hangs up. This is why I love her.

Around 10 minutes later, I hear a knock at the door then it busts open.

"TELL. ME. EVERYTHING." My best friend screams as soon as she enters my house.

It's currently 4:30 and I have a date in two and a half hours so I inform my assistant that I am leaving before walking into the elevator. As I reach the bottom floor I text Dante and Enzo to meet me at the house, not knowing where they are.

After getting into my car, I start driving to my house and all I can think about is my muffin, did she already start getting ready for our date?

As I reach the house I walk into the living room and see Dante and Enzo already there.

"What's up? Why the urgent call?" Dante asks when he sees me enter.

"So, I asked her and she thought it was meant for someone else..." I start.

"And...?" Enzo smiles, knowing where this is going.

"I have a date in two and a half hours," I grin.

"CONGRATS MOTHER FUCKER!" they scream.

"Thank you. I also need you guys to help me get ready. I'm not sure what I should wear. I haven't been on a date in a while," I inform.

"Wait, where are you taking her?" Dante questions, "we have to dress you accordingly."

"I'm gonna take her to the hangout spot," me and these two bitches are the only ones that know about that place because I go there a lot but I want to take her there.

"Damn. You're that onto her?" Enzo looks shocked. 

I don't like telling people about that spot because I don't want it to get crowded. The only other time I saw someone other than us there was some elderly couple but we never saw them again so it's safe to say; not many people know that place.

"A little," I shrug. That's bullshit, I was really into her and the smiles on their faces showed they already knew that.

"Mhm yeah... Just a little," Dante smirks.

"Whatever. just help me yeah?" I plead with my eyes.

"Yeah, you bitch let's go," Enzo chuckles, walking to the elevator in my house.
