Lesothosaurus (meaning "lizard from Lesotho") is a genus of omnivorous ornithischian dinosaur that lived during the Early Jurassic in what is now South Africa and Lesotho. It was named by paleontologist Peter Galton in 1978. The genus has only one valid species, Lesothosaurus diagnosticus.

As an omnivore, it ate mostly plants, as well as sometimes carrion and insects. It was very similar to the Eocursor.
