I awake in this lavender field.
Lightning striking at my feet.
I said I'd never come back here but I've planted a seed
that grows tall at my feet,
beside the lilac lavender so sweet.
They're all in a row, so neat.
But I am tired, I am beat.I try to find the exit,
but the meadow is endless.
The raindrops drown me, drench the crops, make them unfit.
But against the lightning I am defenceless.I resort to running but I can't find my way out of this maze.
I trip and fall, but never stop falling.
Clouding my eyes is a rosy misty fog, a kind of haze,
I'm falling, dying, dropping, heart stopping, not knowing
how I always get myself here.
How my vision is cursed and unclear.I am falling through the void.
Trapped in a cuboid.
A lost soul waiting to be claimed.
'Fine' only ever self-acclaimed.
When will I be tried of dodging lightning?
Of this immortal night, dark and frightening?
