It was a peaceful morning here at Maretime bay and I was currently practicing my psychic powers after a bit of..... procrastination. Anyway, I was fixing to levitate a apple into the air. "Alright, let's see if I can tap into my psychic power." I said to myself as I began to concentrate really hard. It was a few minutes until. "Ooooo!!! (Y/n) is doing something! I need to see what he/she/they are doing?!" I heard a familiar voice say in my head? I open my eyes to see Izzy standing in front of me and the apple.
"Izzy! You interrupted me." I said. "But I didn't say anything? I was being all sneaky so I wouldn't distrust whatever you were doing?" She said in confusion. "But I heard you wondering what I was doing?" I told her. "What? I didn't say a word?" She told me. "But I heard you.... Wait!? Think of something in your head!" I told her as I quickly concentrated on my psychic power real quickly. "Why?" "Just do it!?" "Ok?"
"I wonder why (y/n) want's me to think on my head? Oooo!!! Is he/she/they gonna lift me up in the air?! That would be cool! I always wanted to fly!" I heard her thought say. "Sorry Izzy, but I still can't lift things yet." "Awwww....." "But I can read your mind." I told herd "oooooo!!!!" She said in excitement. "Yep! I am now a psychic. Beware my power." I jokingly said as we then see Sunny running towards us looking a bit scared. "Izzy! (Y/n)! We got a problem!" She yelled. "What is it?" I asked her.
Time skip
So what I was currently looking at is something straight out of a movie. Me and my friends were standing in a field looking at a bunch Durant's that are currently the size of the ants from "Them!".

"Explain to me again.... Why are all the Durant's abnormally huge!?" Hitch yelled in confusion. "Some unicorns foals were playing with their magic and they must've somehow enlarged the Durant's." She told him. "Okayyyy..... but what are we supposed to do about this!?" He asks as the Durant's walked past us returning back to the Durant hole all the while carrying large quantities of food in their pincers. "We just need Izzy to figure out the spell to turn them back to normal size."
"But what was the spell that turn them huge?" Zipp asks. "That's what me and Izzy are gonna figure out. Zipp, Sprout, and (y/n) I need you three to keep an eye on the Durant's and Htich and Pipp. I need you two to make a safety video about magic safety." Sunny told us. "Really?! I'll get my notes!" Hitch says as he dashes off. "I'll go find a unicorn to help." Pipp says as she leaves. "Well Izzy, let's get started on finding the right spell." Sunny said as she and Izzy left leaving me, Zipp, and Sprout to monitor the huge Durant colony.
"Sooooo....." I started as we were sitting here in silence for a few minutes. "Soooo...." Sprout says as well. "Not really much to do when the Durant's aren't really causing any problems." Zipp said. "Yeah........ This kinda reminds me of the movie "Them!" Is there anything similar here?" "A movie about giant Durant's..... nope." "None that I know of." Zipp and Sprout said as we were back to silence.
"So I managed to learn to read minds." I said. "I'm pretty sure that would a invasion of privacy if you use it wrong." Zipp said. "Yeah, I'm still getting used to unicorns living around in Maretime Bay normally, and I'm pretty sure mind reading is something that we don't need for a while." Sprout adds. "Don't worry, I promise to not use it without permission." I promise them. "Good." Zipp said. "Do you think you can prove it to me? I'm kinda curious." Sprout asked me.
"Sure!" I then concentrated on my psychic power to read Sprouts' mind. "Oooo!! We're on magic test four! I can't wait?!" "Izzy?" I thought ad I heard the familiar voice of my friend. "Hi (y/n)!!" "Uhhhh.... Hi. Ummm, sorry to disturb you, but I was trying to read Sprouts' mind." "Ok! Talk to you later!" She thought back to me as I was not trying to do Sprout. After several attempts all I have been reading was Izzy's mind.
"Gahhhh!! I can't seem to read your mind! I'm currently stuck on Izzy's mind." I said in frustration. "Maybe you still haven't gotten used to your magic yet?" Zipp said. "It's Psychic powers for me and your right. It's a miracle that I even managed to read Izzy's mind. I guess I just need to figure out how to turn it off.... Or something?" I said as we went back to silence. "These Durant's really are peaceful." I said as the Durant's were just still gathering food.
Time skip
It had been hours and the Durant's have been reverted back to their original sizes and I was with Izzy back at the lighthouse on our floor. "Alright Izzy, hopefully I can somehow cut my mind reading on you." "Awwww.... But I was liking having a friend that I can talk to in my mind." She said in sadness. "Relax, I can always contact you in your mind once I get the whole hang on my psychic powers." I told her. "Yeahhh!!! I can't wait!" She said as I begin trying to cut off the link.
I was concentrating real hard until I suddenly felt are very big pain in my head which was followed by a bright flash which both me and Izzy screamed in pain. "Gahhhhhh!!!" We both yelled as we were rubbing our heads. "Well! I think that did the trick!" I said as I slowly got up. "Oooooo.... My head hurts." Izzy said. "Sorry." "It's okay.... I can't wait for when you perfected mind reading so we can do it again!" Izzy said in excitement. "Heh! I'll be sure to let you know when I do." I said as we went back downstairs to have dinner.
Timeskip Izzy pov:
It was the middle of the night and I was still wide awake because after getting cut off from (y/n)'s mind reading I had gotten a vision of a contraption for the lighthouse that I just had to write down just before I could forget. "This is gonna be amazing!" I yelled. "Izzy...." I heard Sunny groaned. "Whoops, sorry." I whispered with a sheepish grin.
So I just watched Sonic Prime on Netflix and man was it awesome! The action was amazing and the whole shatterverse worlds are cool and each of the sonic gang variants have some cool designs. I can't wait till the next season to come out in the future. Also I found it adorable that Rouge was sleeping upside down with her wings warped around her body.
Also I managed to see Batman (1989) and Batman Returns and they were both great movies. I very much enjoyed watching them.
