9 ~ homecoming

"This candle obviously doesn't fuck with me."

"What are talking about yes it does."

"No it doesn't."

"Yes it does."

"Bon no."

"Yes Rai it's does. Just take a deep breath and try again. You got this." Bonnie held onto my hands conjuring up the biggest smile possible in hopes to reassure my irritated mood.

"Alright I'll try." I said releasing a small smile of my own.

Sitting on the floor of my bedroom with this one stupid candle that I can't seem to lit.

I helped get rid of ghost but I can't lite a single candle.

"Remember, deep breath." Bonnie speaks.

Nodding in response I closed my eyes. Placing both hands on the outs of my knees. Sucking in a breath and exhaling.

With a whoosh sound I peaked at the candle seeing it finally lit.

"It worked." I looked at the candle in astonishment.

"It definitely worked more than that." Bonnie said, her eyes moving around the room.

Following her movements, I not only lit one but all the candles that were in my room.

I stood up a permanent smile now on my face. Bonnie stepped closer giving me a tight squeeze.

"See you did that Rai. Believe in yourself just as much as I believe in you, you can do anything." Bonnie said.

"Thank you for always doing that." I wrapped an arm around her as well.

"What else am I here for." She retorts. I chuckled at her response.

"Sarai.."

"Yea?" I asked Bonnie. She gave me a questioning look.

"What?" She asked.

"You ju-."

"Sarai..Sarai.."

"My name, I thought you said my name."

"No I didn't."

"Sarai..Sarai..Sarai..."

"Do you not here that?" I asked her. She shook her head.

"What do you hear?" Bonnie asked.

"I keep hearing my name." I looked down at the candle.

I walked over to it and the voice got louder.

"The candle. It's coming from the freaking candle." I whispered.

Bonnie walked over beside. I looked out into the hallway and on the counter a candle.

"Sarai..Sarai, come."

Turning towards my cousin she is already looking at the candle in the hallway.

"What the fuck is going on?" I freaked.

"Sarai I think you need to follow the voice." Bonnie speaks.

"What! you want me to follow it?" I half yelled.
