"He was gloating. Like actual gloat. Like he was proud of himself for sleeping with her. Is it working?" Elena complained.

Bonnie is trying help Elena with a privacy spell as she complains about Damon having sex with Rebekah.

"It's not working. I can hear every word you're saying about Damon, the vampire gigolo." Caroline voiced as she enters Elena's Bedroom.

"I don't know, it's a tricky spell." Bonnie stated.

"When Esther did it, she kept the sage burning. There was a lot more smoke." Elena explained.

"Alright." Bonnie relights the sage. "Try it again." I hear Caroline scoff before leaving the room again.

"Speaking of Esther, you should know that she came to see me and Abby this morning." Bonnie tells Elena. I tense up at her words.

"She was at our house." I looked at her confused. "Where was I?"

"You we're still asleep, you looked pretty tired so I just left you alone and I didn't want to deal with you slapping me for trying to wake you up." Bonnie explains.

I rolled my eyes, choosing not to question her further for now.

"All this time you let me vent about Damon?" Elena Interjected.

"I don't want you to worry."

"Okay, well, what did she want?"

"She wanted to introduce herself. Abby and I helped bring her back. She's channeling our entire ancestral bloodline for power. I think she thought she was being polite."

Well this is news to my ears.

"Okay, well, is there a way to stop her from channeling you?"

"Good question, Elena." I said eyeing Bonnie.

"Even if there was, why would I want that?" Bonnie asked.

"I just keep thinking...Before the sun and the moon ritual, Elijah found a way to keep me alive. And now I'm in exactly the same position and I'm just gonna let him die? It just doesn't feel right." Elena expressed.

"Okay. First of all, this privacy spell is totally not working. Second. Elena, you are not doing this, Esther is doing this." Caroline announced walking back in.

"There's no time to change your mind, Elena. He'll be dead by the end of the night." Bonnie urged.

"What?" Elena looks at her confused.

"It's a full moon. Esther needs to harness the energy of a celestial event. She asked me and Abby to join her."

"When were you going to tell me that your helping Esther." I asked Bonnie on our ride back to the house.

"I know, I'm sorry that I didn't you tell you sooner" Bonnie stated.

"I have no part in this don't I?" I said In realization.

"She doesn't know about you, and for your safety it needs to stay that way."

"You weren't even gonna tell me." I look at her in disbelief. "You can't do that to me Bonnie."

"I'm trying to protect you Sarai." Bonnie stresses.

"And who's gonna protect you Bonnie!" I huffed. "I am a witch too, you are my family. I can't lose you."

"I can't lose you either. I can't. I need you away from this please." Bonnie pleads.
