6 ~ the reckoning

"Oh, come on! Seriously?! Do you know how long it took for us to set all this up?!" Caroline shouts frustrated as if her master art piece had been destroyed.

Well it basically was, once Matt stepped inside.

"Forgot about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler mentions to the art destroyer.

"Clearly." Matt mutters looking around at all the mouse traps that we had set up.

"How could you forget? We've only been waiting for this since like freshman year." Caroline taken back by his words.

Well she's very passionate.

"Yeah, Matt. If I'm doing this, you're doing this." I say with a shrug.

I'm not the type to be really interested in these sorts of things but Caroline couldn't help but make my heart a little heavy with the whole senior year speech she gave me. Even if she's already given it a lot but here I am.

"Sarai you being here is definitely unexpected but I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this." Matt saids.

"Caroline's making us." Bonnie huffs.

"We're about to be seniors. These are the memories that will stay with us forever, and if we don't-"

"And if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Elena says interrupting Caroline's speech that's she's given a million times.

"Go ahead and make fun, I don't care." Caroline rolls her eyes playfully.

"You're all lame. I've got ten more classrooms to prank." Tyler says before he leaves to continue with his work.

"Hey Sarai, wanna help me in Alaric's office?" Elena asked me with a smile.

"Uh sure why not I've been setting for him any way" I say while standing up.

"Hey! Where are you two going together" Bonnie looks towards us.

It's not likely that me and Elena were a duo. Though it's a new year. New possibilities, am I right?

"To superglue Alaric's desk shut. we're making memories." I say raising the super glue with a smirk.

"I love you guys!" Bonnie smiles.

Elena and I make our exit. Tyler is already out here giving instructions to other students handing them rolls of saran wrap.

"Oh he's all in" I joke as we continued pass him. Elena laughs then opens one of the double doors.

At the sight of what was behind them. My smile dreads away.

Klaus stands on the other side with a million dollar smirk. His eyes meet mine first even though Elena was slightly in front of me.

"There are my girls."

"Klaus." Elena says fear evident in her voice. She turns towards me giving me a look that tells me we're both thinking the same.

We took of running. It was the only option that came clear to us. Although I should know that we can't outrun a supernatural creature with inhuman speed. Klaus was in front of us again in the matter of seconds.

So stupid.

"Hello love it's rather great to see you again" Klaus stares at me with those deep blue eyes of his. I couldn't help but look away. his gaze a little to intense.

"And you. You are supposed to be dead. What are we going to do about that?" He questions.
