JJ's POV
***
Ella and I find the hotel quickly and I waste no time parking out front. The guy in uniform at the door tries to tell me to move, but I'm too angry to care. I storm into the building and head straight to the lifts while Ella strays behind, probably still confused as to what is happening.

"Do you even know which room they're in?" Ella asks.

"Fuck," I mutter, slamming my fist against the button. "I'll go ask"

I jog back to the front desk and see a woman with a slicked back bun on the phone. She eyes me as I approach and sighs, clicking her gum before turning her attention to me.

"Can I help you, sir?"

"Yes- I need the room number of Darren Watkins, please"

"Are you of any relation?"

"Yes, I'm his uncle"

"Can I see some ID?"

"For fuck's sake man, just give me the room number. My daughter is up there with this loser, and I need to make sure she's okay and that he hasn't impregnated her with his weird psycho sperm, and you're not being very helpful-"

"Please excuse him," Ella says, appearing by my side in an instant. "Our daughter was here about an hour and a half ago with someone: Long brown hair, leather trousers, and I think the guy was just wearing all black? We're not trying to hurt the boy, we just want to take our daughter back home so we know she's safe"

Ella's pleasant tone seems to pay off, and the woman behind the desk pushes a keycard towards us, snapping her gum again. I grab the key immediately and storm back up to the lifts, Ella following closely behind.

***

The lift doors open on floor six, and I look for the room numbers, the anger in my body making my blood boil. I walk all the way to the end and press my ear against the door. For a second, I can't hear anything, but then, after a few seconds, I hear Holly's laugh.

"It's this one," I sigh, scanning the keycard.

Ella stands behind me as I push the door open. Holly and Speed are on the bed. He's on top of her, and they're kissing like there's no tomorrow. Luckily, her clothes are still on. They don't seem to notice Ella or me standing here, so I grab the box of tissues on the desk next to where I'm standing and I toss it towards the back of Speed's head. It makes contact with a satisfying thud and then falls to the floor.

"What the fuck-" Speed turns around and his eyes widen. "Oh fuck"

Speed immediately gets off of Holly and she sits up, a guilty look on her face. They share a look before looking at me and Ella again. Holly's speechless.

"Holly, what the fuck"

"I-"

"You are in so much trouble," I say, shaking my head as I grab her arm, tugging her off the bed. "Get the fuck out of here and wait outside with Ella"

Once Holly is off the bed, I release her arm from my hold and go into the bathroom where I see her duffle bag. I zip it up, pull it over my shoulder, and walk back into the main room.

"Please, go easy on her," Speed says, rubbing the back of his neck as he makes eye contact with me. "The lying, the story, the planning...it was all me. Holly just went along with it but it was my idea. Really"

"Listen kid," I growl. "Fuck off and leave my daughter alone. Don't tell me how to do my fucking job"

I slam out of the room and see the girls standing by the lift. Holly's eyes are on the floor while Ella looks uncomfortable and helpless. I don't blame her. I don't think Holly's ever pulled this much of a stress out of me in front of her.
