A/N: Hello again, everyone! It is Halloween today! Let me know if you are dressing up this year in the comment section below. If so, what are you dressing up as? If not, what are your plans for Halloween? This is when Y/N, Harry, Ron, and Hermione have their first charms class, Ron starts making fun of Hermione which makes Y/N really mad since she is so protective over Hermione. After that happened, the girls both run into the troll and end up in danger. Y/N would be anything to protect her best friends from anyone or anything including Voldemort and the death-eaters. The next chapter will be Y/N and Harry's first Quidditch game and Y/N will discover that her potential enemies (Angelina Johnson and Katie Bell) want to be with her crushes just as much as she does. Y/N will do anything to make sure that the girls don't cause trouble for herself, her own crushes, or any of her best friends.

Y/N's POV:

After Harry and I finished our quidditch lesson with Oliver, we headed to our charms class with Professor Flitwick. When I looked at my schedule, I noticed that we have our charms class with the Slytherins. I've heard from my brother O/B/N that Professor Flitwick is an amazing professor and incredibly smart and wise since he is the head of Ravenclaw. I am sitting at a table with another student who I'd gotten to know before class started. Her name is Felicity (change it if your name is Felicity) Robinson and she is a muggle-born just like Hermione. She is in Gryffindor just like me and my friends. She's so kind, brave, caring, and courageous.

Class started with Professor Flitwick saying, "Hello, class!" We said in unison, "Hello Professor!" He continued and said, "Welcome to Charms Class! I'm Professor Flitwick and I'll be your instructor for this class! Now, one of a wizard or witch's most rudimentary skills is levitation, or the ability to make objects fly. Uh, do you all have your feathers?" Hermione and I raised up our feathers in response. Then he said, "Good. Now, uh, don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing, hmm? The swish and flick. Everyone." We all said again in unison alongside waving our wands to practice the movement, "The swish and flick!" He said, "Good. And enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa! Off you go then!" I could hear Draco, who wasn't sitting that far from me, say, "Wingardium Leviosa!"

Then we all started practicing our wrist movements and enunciating the spell correctly. Ron, who is sitting on my other side, started whacking his wand numerous times while saying, "Wingardium Leviosaa!" Hermione said to him, "Stop, stop, stop! You're going to take someone's eye out. Besides, you're saying it wrong. It's Leviosa, not Leviosaa!" I looked over and said annoyed, "Hermione's right, Ronald! You have to enunciate it clearly or otherwise, it's not going to work." Ron ignored me once again and said to her in a snarky tone, "You do it then if you're so clever! Go on, go on!" Hermione straightens up, swishes her wand, and said, "Wingdarium Leviosa!" Her feather starts slowly floating up into the air and I can see that my feather is at the same height as hers. I said, "You did a magnificent job, Hermione!" She said, "You two, Y/N!"

Then Professor Flitwick said, "Oh, well done! See here, everyone! Ms. Granger and Ms. L/N have done it. Oh, splendid!" Ron placed his head on his books dejectedly and annoyed. I can see Seamus begin swishing at his feather. Seamus said, "Wingardium Leviosa! Wingardium Leviosa!" Flitwick said to me and Hermione, "Well done, dears!" We both smiled at him in appreciation and then... BOOOM!!!! Seamus' feather explodes. Flitwick gasps and both Hermione and I jump in surprise, not expecting it whatsoever. Flitwick said, "Whooaaaaa! Ooh." I heard Harry say in a shocked tone, "I think we're going to need another feather over there, Professor!"

Once charms class finished, we started walking through the corridor that was crowded with other students. I was walking with Hermione when I heard Ron say something rather rude about my best friend and roommate. He said in an impersonating voice, "It's Leviosa, not Leviosaa! Honestly, she's a nightmare. No wonder she hasn't got any friends." Once he said that, I became absolutely furious because I was offended by what he said but he was saying really mean things about my best friend who is also my roommate. I am very protective of her and always make sure that she is alright. Hermione, who heard what Ron said about her, started crying and bustled past them bumping into Ron. I am so worried about her.
