After Elliot dropped me off, I went to bed. I felt sorry for myself, but at the same time I'm happy. I think I'm happy because at least I'm holding on to Harvey and I'm being used anymore. Things happen for a reason, right?
I am sitting in my dad's study waiting for him, a maid told me that he said for me to be here. I probable going to get yelled at for leaving. My head is forwards, but my eyes are done. I hear the door open, and I look up where my dad's head will be when he seats down. I hear his footsteps come around; I can feel my heart racing. "Eleanor." His voice ruffed out; he stops at the corner of the desk. I look up at the face, I know too well. "What do you want, Elliot." I say with venom on my tongue. "Oh, just to have your hand?" He asks, I him a questionable face. He smirks before he puts a box in front of me. It was the box I wanted for 18th birthday... the present I never got...the present is an engagement ring.
I could feel my heart drop, my father needs me to be the Queen soon. I need to have a king to be with me, and here is Harvey - a lying bitch- with a ring. "My father would never accept you, after all he doesn't like you." That is the best thing though, you see my father can get along with anyone. Doesn't matter your skin, your gender, and/or belief. so, when my father doesn't like you, he will never accept them or let them be around us. My father tried to separate me and Harvey many times before.
We stare at each other; his eyes no longer have the passion they used to have for me. The look would kill me, if it could. The thing is that I'm giving him the same look that he is giving me. "Harvey, what are you doing in here!" We hear a deep, smooth, warm yet so cold voice. I turn to look at the person, father. I look at Harvey, and nod my head over to my father, telling him to try. He scoffs, then grabs the box and walks over to my father. My father sees the box, "No. Get out of my house." Harvey couldn't even show him the box before getting rejected. He stands there and nods his head before leaving practically running.
My father looks at, I quickly look at him. He slowly comes around to his desk. "Now, I have to ask- What are we going to do with Seraphina?" He asks me, he knows. I look down, "She is pregnant. We can't do much, it would be rude." I say while looking down at the floor. I just can't throw her out, since she is pregnant. My father nods his head. and looks down at a piece of paper. It hits me that she is pregnant with Havery's baby, why not give her to him. "How about when Harvey leaves, she goes with him. After all that is his child." I look my my father with a soft smile. He grins then nods his head. "I think that is a lovely idea." He says before standing up. He is most likely going to tell Seraphina to get her stuff together and for Harvey that he is taking that pig with him.
My father with walks out, I stand up and walk out after him. I go to Amara's room, hopefully Elliot is in there. I knock on the door of her room and wait for a response. I hear the doorknob start to move; I step back. I see the door open a little, Elliot sticks his head out a little. He smiles when he sees me, he puts his head back inside. "Amara, sweetheart, someone is outside." I hear him say to Amara. His voice is so soft to her, I can tell just from his voice that he is amazing father. He peaks his head out again. "Come on in." He says as he opens the door me. I take a deep breath; this is really happening.
I walk in and look over at the bed where she is laying. I watch her eyes go wide, her mouth drop, and she looks at me as if I am a God. She looks from me to her father, back to me, she does this again, and again. "DADDY!" She yells at the top of her lunges while pointing at me. She has a huge smile on her face, I never seen a kid be this excited to meet me. "I know, baby." I hear Elliot say, but I'm more focused on Amara's eyes. They are brown eyes with green in them, they look as if the mud is peaking up from the grass on a rainy day. She has blonde hair, not as blonde as her father though. Elliot and Amara have the same mouth shape.
I show a soft smile, she is definitely a beautiful girl. She tries to get up to come to me, but Elliot puts her hands on her legs. "Not yet Amara." I look at him, he has worried face. I look at Amara and see her looking at her dad. She looks like she is going to cry, "But daddy!" She cries. I look at Elliot shake his head; this must be because of the poison. I walk over to where she is sitting up in the bed. "Listen to your daddy, Amara." I say while sitting next to her. She looks at with surprise face. She looks at her dad, and points to her. "Yes, baby, she said your name." Elliot says with a chuckle in between which word. She smiles so happily and looks at me, I want to hug her and punch who ever hurt her. I guess this is what my mother calls 'motherly instincts', which I don't understand because I barely know this child.
I smile at Elliot remembering what he told what she liked to do for games. He told me she made a game called us the name; she mimicked people and make him guess who she was. "Do you want to play 'guess who I am'?" I ask her and I see her face light up. I glance at Elliot and see him looking at me with angelic eyes. I feel my cheeks heat up from the look, and Amara and I start to play.
After an hour of playing the game, I have to go back to me being a princess. I didn't want to leave, but I need to. "Thank you, princess." She says to me, and I smile at her. Elliot smiles and stands up; he puts his hand out for me. "Goodbye Princess Amara, I do hope to spend together." I say to her before taking Elliots hand. He walks me out of the room, I stop to wave to Amara before leaving the room. I walk out of the room; I close the door be hide us. "Thank you, Eleanor, I have not seen her like that in a while. So happy, having fun, everything a child her age should be doing." He looks as if he blinks tears will come out of his eyes. I hug him, I do not know what he is going through- and hopefully I will never have to go through that.
I hear him mumbling things, I do not care what he is saying. I know as a royal getting confront his harder than ruling a kingdom, almost. I have this strange feeling that we will being confront which other a lot and because of that we get to know which other. I can only hope; after all, I have to say yes or no to him in a few weeks.
