Kakashi's POV
January 24 2021 (Sunday) - 9:55 am
As I was waiting for Miyu-chan to come back, I saw in the news that the two Ikuya brothers have passed the qualifiers for swimming and will represent the country. And in the interview of the two brothers I noticed that there is a girl around Miyu-chan's age who looks so close with the Ikuya brothers.
If that girl's hair wasn't blonde, everyone would think that they are siblings. I clenched my fists, just what the heck are those two thinking. After all they did to their real sister and now here they are treating some random girl compassionately and looking at her lovingly like the girl was their real sister.
Miyu-chan should never see this. This will shock her and will make her even more depressed. She still hasn't recovered from what happened to her 2 years ago. And if this news reaches her ears, terrible things will happen to Miyu-chan. I cannot let this happen. Making sure she has a healthy mind and physique is my duty as a coach and my responsibility as an uncle.
Just what in the world did Miyu-chan do to make her suffer like this.
I was lost in deep thought but then I heard the door open and it was Miyu-chan and I saw she brought company. I quickly changed the channel and greeted her and the two ladies who were standing beside her.
The two ladies introduced themselves and I learned that they are the famous Himari sisters who hold a world high record in archery doubles.
I also noticed that Miyu-chan seems to be comfortable around them. The two sisters seem kind. Maybe they can help her to recover from her past wounds. I guess I'll just monitor their behavior these days.
After the introduction and the two sisters got settled in, we continued the training for the rest of the day.
And as usual, Miyu-chan did great, but there is something more. It seems that Miyu was more comfortable and she was doing great than usual. Is this because of the Himari sisters' presence?
Every time Miyu-chan got a 10 they always said to her 'nice shot' or 'yes!'. And there are times they give her advice on how to aim accurately and Miyu-chan takes their advice and follows them.
I also knew that these two sisters are fans of Miyu, because I often saw them in her competitions, be it swimming or archery. The Himari sisters are not the only ones who are fans of Miyu-chan, I also noticed that the Japan men's national volleyball team is also watching her competitions.
I wish that Miyu would know that many people adored her and she should know that bonds aren't just limited by blood or family names. I know that blood is thicker than water, but it seems that is not always the case.
