.At the age of three and ten, Alysanne Velaryon leaves her family and enters the royal court, where she is tested by the gods to play the game of thrones.
After the tragic demise of Laena Velaryon, her dragon, Vhagar, was not claimed by her firstborn child, rather it was claimed by Prince Aemond Targaryen, with the loss of his eye and the revenge of his nephews and cousins. His mother, the Queen Alicent, failed to seek justice when she wanted an eye for an eye. So, she demanded that her maimed secondborn son should be betrothed to Princess Alysanne Velaryon, one of the rumored bastard children of the heir to The Iron Throne. The King gave the betrothal his blessing, thinking the House of The Dragon was to be one again, or so he thought.

Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Princess Of Dragonstone, gave birth to Princess Alysanne Velaryon and her brother Prince Jacaerys Velaryon in 114 AC. It was customary to deposit dragon eggs on each of their cradles, and those eggs would shortly hatch no later than one moon before the twin prince and princesses' first names days.
The dragons were named after the gods of Old Valyria. The dragon of Prince Jacaerys was named Vermax, after the Valyrian god of boundaries, travel, communication, trade, language, and writing. Meanwhile a she-dragon, did the princess was bonded to, and she was named Sitharax, after the Valyrian goddess of music and daughter of Syrax, the goddess of wine, fruitfulness, parties, festivals, madness, chaos, drunkenness, vegetation, and ecstasy. Sitharax had an angelic noise for her dangerous kind whereas Vermax was ill-tempered, chaotic, according to the accounts of Maesters. Her rhythmic noises whenever she was in the sky were described as melodic, earning her the title "The Song In The Skies". The commonfolk adored the dragon and hailed her fair whenever she soared she sang the song of heavens. Alas, they could not say the same for the rider.
Gods forbid, everyone tried. They did all what they could to make her into a proper young lady. Princess Rhaenyra herself stationed her daughter as her handmaiden, learning the proper ways of a lady, but being once a rebellious child herself, her tutorial proved to be more jovial than effective, and with her and her grandfather king's blessing, Alysanne was allowed to train in arms, on the condition that she put forth the etiquette of a princess in court.
The Old King Jaehaerys was said to have been driven to madness by his daughters. Thus, the blood of the dragon runs thick. Over the course of four years, Alysanne had numerous septas and lady companions, daughters of highborn lords her age, yet still she remains as unbowed, unbent, and unbroken as Dorne. A true Targaryen princess indeed, King Viserys famously said while holding court.
Princess Alysanne Velaryon had the spirit of a dragon. She was less interested in ladyship, much less on reading the Book Of The Seven-Pointed Star during Maiden's Day. She preferred heavy armor over heavy skirts, her grandfather the Seasnake's accounts over traditional fairytales involving maidens and knights, the song of her dragon over the scoffs from people such as Prince Aemond Targaryen. He who was her uncle but was only four years her and Jacaerys's seniors, and was the loudest in hailing her and her brothers as bastards.
Together with her twin brother, Alysanne became suspicious of her paternal lineage prior to the departure of the late Ser Harwin Strong, their mother's sworn shield, and their rumored true father.
