Aemond was surprised to discover Alysanne had fallen into unconsciousness in his arms. Her weight against him grows heavy, causing him to cushion her fall to the ground, in which the ground tremors with every step Meleys took towards the doors that had been stopped from being closed. Princess Rhaenys and her dragon were no longer the threats against the Greens.

Still on edge after what just happened mere seconds ago, everyone stared at Alysanne's lifeless frame in Aemond's arms. Alicent is the fist to return to her bearings and she pushes Aegon away. "Take her back to the castle at once and bring her to the Maester." She said. Ser Criston then demands his men to fetch for a horse for the prince and the fallen princess.

The commotion of the commons coming from outside of the Dragonpit remains loud. Aemond shakes his head, standing up with Alysanne in his arms. "There is no time, Ser." He told Ser Criston. Without another word, he carries his wife down the podium, denying assistance from the royal guards, and heads for the stairwell.

His footsteps echo down the darkness. The rush of adrenaline from earlier remains fresh in his blood and he stops to listen to the The Song In The Skies.

The she-dragon growls behind the bars as Aemond stood with the rider in his arms. Bonded to the largest dragon alive, the dragon in front of him was a mere kitten.

Aemond nods at the Dragonkeeper, who then pulls a lever and the portcullis is raised, opening the lair. Seeing the barrier being taken away, the she-dragon reveals its razor-sharp teeth. The Dragonkeepers tug on the chains but Sitharax resists.

"Lykiri, Sitharax!" Aemond orderd. "Alysanne needs your help, now more than ever."

"She will not obey someone who is not her master." The old Dragonkeeper said.

"Then her master shall die." Aemond glared. "And I will not be pleased." He steps inside the lair and orders the chains to be undone at once. The Dragonkeepers do so as told and with all of their manpower, they haul the stubborn dragon out of her lair. Sitharax struggles in pain as the chains bound to her neck tighten. Eventually, the she-dragon is pushed to the ground and she emits a weak shriek.

In Aemond's arms, Alysanne fidgets, and she awakens with a scream, and Aemond orders the Dragonkeepers to let go of the chains.

"Put me down, Aemond." Alysanne whispered to him. With her insistence, Aemond softly lowers her to stand in her own footing but Alysanne still falls to the ground. As she knelt, she was clutching onto her stomach. Then she shoves her hand in her skirts and pulls it out to find her fingers smeared with blood.

For what seems to be an eternity, Aemond stares at the blood, void of any emotion, and Alysanne watches him, saddened, and afterwards tears of mixed panic and sadness would soon cascade down her face.

The one-eyed prince blinks rapidly until his jaw clenches. He kneels down, meeting her fleeting gaze. Pain pangs in her womb for the second time and Alysanne stifles a whimper, not wanting to appear weak in front of him.

"I'm sorry." She was able to utter in a wavering tone. Much to her shock, he pulls her close as he rests his chin on the top of her head. The warmth coming from his body travels to hers, assuring her without the need for words.

"It were no one's fault," Aemond said, running his thumb in circular motion on her hair. Without sure thought, she throws herself at him and buries her face in the crook of his neck, and how it warmed her to feel safe in his hold for the first time. "No one else, but that of Rhaenys Targaryen." Aemond added, and he feels her back stiffen.

For once, she could not disagree with him. Her grandmother might not have burned them all alive, but she had caused the loss of Alysanne's pregnancy. If it was her intention or no, Princess Rhaenys is still partly to blame.
