Diona stood there shocked and surprise at what the queen just said.
"M-marriage?" Diona said as she was confuse at what the queen was proposing. How could she marry King Aldrich Dufort? A mere child of the mistress was given the opportunity to marry the king of Narva kingdom, something was just off about it.
"Yes I finally made the decision to help your worthless life by marrying you off to him. We don't have much time so you need to go the dressing room so they can make you up" the queen said to Diona with her slightly shaking voice but still remained calm.
Something is definitely up, since when did the witch started having sympathy for me? Though there both trying to act calm I can feel the tension within the air.
Diona looked over at princess Aurora and noticed how worried she was. She looked over at the queen as well to notice how her palm was trembling slightly as she kept it on the table looking at her calmly. Diona already knew something was up but decided to act like she was oblivious.
"I'm sorry your majesty but I would have to refuse your offer of marriage. Unlike princess Aurora I'm in no rush to enter into marriage much important him being a well known person. I'm pretty sure Princess Aurora and king Aldrich will make a perfect couple"
Diona said as Aurora's face got pale as Diona spoke. The queen frowned more bitterly but quickly masked it away with her nonchalant expression.
"You must be mistaken Diona. I was not asking you if you wanted to marry him, I was simply informing you about it..."
Diona looked at her shocked as she frowns when the queen continued
"You have to marry him and is an order. I actually thought you'll be smart enough to accept him easily but you always being a torment has to force me to use this resort"
she said calmly as Diona looked at her angrily.
"I'm not marrying anyone and my words are final. If this is the reason why you called me, then I guess my business is done"
Diona said as she turned around to leave
"What about your beloved mother?"
Diona stopped as she heard the queen speak.
"Or are you as heartless to not care for her. I can assure you I won't hesitate to remove all privileges and support we give her to survive. I mean she bound to die event-"
"What's your deal already?"
Diona said cutting the queen off. She turns to face them as the queen smiles evily.
"Your dress is in the dressing room, the maids will dress you up and take you to your future husband"
She said calmly causing Diona to ball her fingers in a fist frowning bitterly.
"If anything happens to my mother, I'll assure you I will never forgive you. You can trust me, my revenge on you will be quite unforgettable"
She spoke coldly as the queen frowns her face a bit at her attitude. She only kept quiet since Diona was going to be married off to that beast called Aldrich. That alone made her to smile a bit knowing what she's about to put herself into.

ALDRICH'S POV
"Please spare me I beg of you" the king spoke as he kneels infront of Aldrich. This only made Aldrich to sip his tea calmly as he smiles, his simple but intimidating aura visible to everyone in the area.
"I ask you a question and you must know I hate repeating myself"
His statement was enough to send chills to Aurora's father as he started trembling. All the bodyguards and servants felt very helpless since they couldn't do anything to protect Aurora's father. They had no choice but to watch their master being humiliated and doing nothing about it. King Aldrich made it very clear to them either to follow him or die. He was the real definition of the devil here.
