First and foremost, this is neither my first oneshot book nor my first story. So i'd like to think i've got atleast a bit of experience with writing stories on wattpad. However, my writers block level is usually at 100% power and my motivation level is also at 100%. Sadly the two don't go together 😔
There is a slight chance this book may disappear ( poof out of existence 😅 ) as it is seriously difficult to keep going on with a story if there aren't many chapters or readers. And leaving it on the platform is a good idea however it would seriously annoy me to label a story with barely any chapters as " complete ".
If there are an unruly amount of breaks inbetween chapters with an even more unruly length, then you'll know why. So please don't blame me as I am seriously trying my hardest to keep this going 😭
Anyways, before I continue with my other points let me just say that this chapter's (i guess) only purpose is to give a bit more detail on a couple points mentioned in the desc., make a few more points and give some warnings, as stated in the title. 😋
As for my second point, I'd like to give a small warning that I do not refer to the characters by their names as often as some other writers might. The reasoning for this is as simple as purely not liking to do so. As it is my writing style, I can't do anything about that. However, as the book progresses you might notice a slight change in my writing - I may refer to them using their names more often, I may refer to them using their names less often, I may never refer to them using their names ever again. Only time will tell... 😌
As I think you've been able to infer from this little side note, my writing's quite a bit more formal than not. Which isn't a bad thing ( I think 😥 ), however if you're not really into that then this book is not it for you. However, a bit more informal style may be used when characters are speaking or texting. 🗨
For example, in another book I wrote that was previously on the platform, wei wuxian texted casually without any care for grammer and such while the lan brothers used proper punctuation and proper spellings. This is because they are more likely to be the type to use such a formal texting style.💨
Its just the way I feel would best represent the characters. Even in direct speech, some words might have an extra letter or so (e.g:: yayyyy) to help understand the way the character is exaggerating and pronouncing the words a bit more. 💘
My writing is like seriously very selective though. I'm good-ish at writing most genres but when it comes to angst or text that requires emotive language, my brain turns to mush and the writing goes to shit. So please, HELP ME 😭
Anywaysss, english isn't my first language by any means however I'd like to think I'm pretty fluent since I can, y'know, read and write in it. But no matter how fluent I am, it's still my second language so any grammatical errors and such can be blamed on that and not me. I take no responsibility. 😉
Jkjk, I am also still learning and going to secondary school. Not an adult, as you may guess. So yeah, mistakes = very easy to make. 😞
And if there is a point where what im writing sounds like absolute gibberish or theres a grammatical error please feel free to correct me and if its gibberish maybe give me a suggestion on how to word it better or smth. I really don't know just help me get better ig ? 🤷♀️
Little warning, these aren't all our beloved Wangxian and I do allow recommendations on ships so if I like the ship then I shall use it ! Also please feed me ideas here because ideas are nice and I barely have any 😭 I swear I will give credits so please please please, if you have any ideas - feed me them, begs 🙏
Always remember, when you're reading you have the control so if you don't like a chapter then skip it, simple as 😌
Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the translations or whatever. Basically, if you wanna translate a story or the whole book ( idc either way ) literally all you have to do is ask and give credits. 😳
Giving credits aren't just important to me but also to fellow readers, because if they see something they like - they can check out the version in their language. In this case, it would be english. So to make our community better, credits are the priority. 😶🌫️
Sadly I can't write in any other languages but if you can thats honestly great ! ✨️
Also, if there are adjustments you want to make to a certain chapter ON YOUR OWN then again, feel free to ask. All I ask in return is, CREDITS please they are seriously appreciated. 🎊
Honestly its not really asking at this point since my answer will always be yes. The only reason I want you to ask for perms is so that i know how many there are and in what languages. That way I can recommend in my desc as well. So its more informing than asking ! 💫
