A million things was running thru my head right now
"family of Stacey Lovane."A doctor said coming
I followed the doctor into his office
"Miss Lovane with victim to a very brutal attack Im sure the people who did this intend to end her life. She suffered a lot of trauma to the head, a broken rib which has punctured her uterus and alot of internal bleeding.we was able to stop the bleeding and stitch up her head her uterus will take a bit longer to heal but I'm afraid the chances of her conceiving in the future are now very low.We given her a blood transfusion and some medicine for the pain so she's going to need a lot of rest."The doctor said
"Can I see her please."I asked
"She's asleep right now but I can show you to her room."The doctor said
Stacey was sleeping peacefully but her skin looked so battered and bruised.Her light snores filled the room.
"I'm so sorry girl."I spoke into the room
"You really don't deserve any of this. I know how hard you was tryna to break out your shell but I know this isn't what you asked for I promise you she ain't gone walk away with this scott free."I said
"Jade that you?"Stacey stirred in her sleep

"I'm go get a doctor okays just to make sure nothings changed from earlier."I said
I returned with the doctor.She changed her IV and left us alone with each other again
We sat in silence for a bit before stacey spoke
"I can't believe this happened to me."She spoke
"I'm still in shock."I said
"Could you do me a favour please."Stacey asked
"Yes Anything."I said
"Could you go to the store and get me some gatorade please the blue one."She asked
"Yeah do you want anything else?"I asked.
"No that will be all."
It was pretty dark outside now and I hadn't come in my car since we came in an ambulance so I decided to walk to the store It wasn't too far from here. I had a weird gut feeling but I couldn't put my finger on it.
Everything happened so fast I was hit over the head then someone held a cloth to my face.I tried with all my strength to fight them off but whatever they was holding to my face was putting me to sleep.
