While Steve was in the hospital, Danny ran the task force. About an hour after Dr. Isles had given him the news that his friend could die he drove back to Five-0 with Kono sitting next to him. After afew minutes Kono said "Steve's not really going to die, is he Danny?" her voice quavering slightly. Danny sighed and looked over at Kono seeing that she had been crying silently throughout their journey. He looked at her and placed his hand in hers and said "Kono, Steve was a navy SEAL, he was shot at al time-" "But?" Kono asked, cutting him off. "But their comes a point when everyone is taxed beyond their limit. It's like Maura said, anything can happen at this point." Danny said, his voice catching. At that point, they pulled up to their office. Kono gave Danny a faint smile. "You know, Danno, you're not a bad motivational speaker." she said, walking into the office.
