Justice League Legends: Midoriya's Journey

Episode 10: Paradise Lost Part I

Metropolis was suffering from a massive hurricane that put the citizens lives in jeopardy.

Superman, Wonder Woman, All Might, Captain Celebrity, Skycrawler, Godzillo, Big Red Dot and Clair Voyance were assisting the rescue teams who were caught in the middle of the storms.

All Might, Godzillo and Big Red Dot were helping people around the city that was flooded.

Clair was in charge of communication with the different teams.

Superman and Wonder Woman were saving a few firemen who almost crashed their firetruck off a highway after a stop sigh gets blown through the window.

"Man, that was close." One of the firemen says.

Superman asks them. "Are you guys okay?"

One of the firemen responds. "A little worse for wear, but...okay."

"Mommy!" A little girl calls for help who's hanging from a tree nearby. "Mommy! Help!"

Diana immediately acts and flies and grab the little girl, as the tree falls over.

Wonder Woman says as she flies to a safe spot. "I've got you, little sister!"

"You're not my sister!" The girl replies, obviously not knowing why she called her that.

"Cassie!" The girl's mother calls out as Diana lands down and lets the girl go.

"Mommy!" The girl cries out and runs over to her mother to hug her.

The mother tells her after hugging her. "How could you run off like that? You almost scared to death!"

"I'm sorry." The girl says to her mother and hugs her again.

"I don't know what I'd do if anything ever happened to you." The mother said to her daughter. "You're my whole world."

Diana watched the two as they go inside their apartment, not paying attention to her surroundings as a traffic pole behind her was about to fall.

Superman sees this and quickly flies to move out of the way of the traffic pole.

"You're usually more careful than that." Superman says.

Diana tries to explain. "I'm sorry, I was just...I don't know."

"What's wrong?" Superman asked, feeling something was bothering his friend, especially as someone who's known for taking hero work seriously as Diana.

"My mother use to say the planets revolved around me. She called me her little sun and stars. You know, I left Themyscira against her wishes." Diana tells Superman, explaining her homesickness that's distracting her a lot.

Superman tells her. "Maybe you should go back and sets things right."

"But what would I say to her?" Diana explained, unsure of what she would of her daughter defying her wishes and leaving Themyscira for man's world.

Superman gave her a simple answer. "Try the truth."

Diana paused for second. "If only it was that easy. But you're right. I can't put it off any longer."

All Might comes in, with Clair Voyance on his back. "I am here! Swooping in like a guardian angel!"

He lands on the ground roughly which causes Clair to fall off and on back.

"And landing like a meteor, full speed and causing damage!" Clair states as she rubs her head.

"Sorry! Maybe put on a belt next time." All Might making a joke, which earns him an elbow into his weak spot, which shrinks him back into his small form. "Okay, fair enough." He says as coughs up blood.
