Episode 13: Fury Part II

Emergency crews were in a state of panic as paramedics quick wheeled all infected males to emergency rooms all across the city.

Firefighters were calling for what little support they can get.

On a nearby building, Aresia, Tsukuri, Star Sapphire and Jinx watch the anarchy from above.

"So the poison only affects men?" Tsukuri asks, as she sees the chaos down below.

"Exactly." Aresia replied "that's why it didn't hurt you two."

"But why?" Star Sapphire asked her. "What do you have to gain from all of this?"

"What do I have to gain?" Aresia responds with a raised voices and a glare at her. "Look around you, man's world is filled with greed, deception and cruelty. But I'm going to change all that. Today, we women take control."

"You can't be serious." Star Sapphire says surprised by such a destructive and deadly goal.

Aresia smirks and replies. "Can't I?"

Jinx wasn't really paying attention at what Aresia was saying, she was too horrified at what the plague was doing. When she wanted to become a villain, it was to allow to live in a world where she could have an easier life, not to kill of all males in some misandrist plot. She looks back at Aresia who smiled with sick joy at all the destruction she was causing, she thought since nobody knew her, she though she would make a great villain to work with but no,she's no better then Luthor, Clawbber or Joker.

Meanwhile with Batman...

The Dark Knight leaped out of a building just as it explodes with a young in his left arm, using his right arm to grapple on a building and slowly descend back to the ground.

Hawkgirl lands next to him to see the boy was infected as well.

Batman tells Hawkgirl as he hands over to the kid to her. "Lucky I found this one, but he's not doing well."

"I'll get him to a hospital." She says before taking flight with the boy.

When Batman saw Hawkgirl leaving he noticed his vision was starting to blurry, he then realised that he was infected.

"Batman!" Wonder Woman calls out as she lands down and he turns around to face her. "You were right. It was a renegade Amazon."

"I know." Batman who has completely figured out who Aresia is.

Wonder Woman adds to this. "I just couldn't believe that one of my sisters could actually-"

Wonder Woman was interrupted, when a bus went out of control and was coming towards them, forcing Batman to push Wonder Woman out of the way.

Batman got back and started chasing it, despite the infection.

During their chase, the bus smashed into a dish tower and causes it to collapse, Diana flies over to it and catches it before it could fall onto some innocents.

Batman managed to fire a grapple line at the bus's back window, launching himself through the glass.

He quickly rushes to the front and tries to steer the bus away, it crashes through a car flipping it onto its side before seeing that the bus was heading straight for a firetruck.

"Look out!" One of the paramedics says, alarming the women to get out of the bus direction.

Batman uses the last of his strength to steer the steering wheel, forcing the bus to flip onto its side until it was against the firetruck.
