Greatest Day... Liam Payne

Part 3

"I can't believe this is actually happening!" Kay exclaimed as we stood packing our lives into our suitcases. "You, future star Jamie Green, and going on tour with the one, the only ONE DIRECTIO, but most importantly you are taking me with you!"

"Kay you know if you calm down we'll get this done twice as quick," i replied as i flung some jumpers from my wardrobe into my suit case.

"I can't help it Jay, i never dreamed of this happening? Me you and ONE DIRECTION!"

"So you've said..."

"But i still can't believe Liam didn't recognise you, even when you sung."

"I know" i replied, "It's not like I've changed that much in two years" i explained as i passed her a picture of Liam and I."

"WOW!" she said looking wide eyed at the picture, "Jay you look like a completely different person, no wonder he didn't recognise you, and I know I wouldn't have."

"Come on Kay stop kidding around, i basically look the same."

"NO WAY JAY, you're like a completely different person!" she said as she handed the picture back.

I don't think i had changed that much, i mean my hair was long and ginger in the picture, now it was slightly more grown up, a blondish colour with a hint of red flowing through, it was also cut just above my shoulders, but surely he would recognise still. Then again, i never used to wear make-up, not that i wear much now any way, i looked slightly more grown up.

"Jay even your name has even changed, after Liam left your parents got divorced right? The only thing that hasn't changed about you is your eyes, and when you sing you close them"

I paused for a moment staring at the picture. I loved that picture; i can still remember the day it was taken. Liam and i had gone to the beach, we just say in the sand all day, that was the day before he left for the XFactor, the day before my world crumbled apart.

"Hello...? Earth to Jamie?" Kay asked as she waved her hand frantically in front of my face. "Just show him those gorgeous eyes of yours" she said as she winked at me.

"Fine" i said defeated.

"Hurry up, the boys will be here to pick us up any minute now" Kay said, excitement oozing out of his voice.

"You mean Harry's coming soon," i replied.

"Pffft you say pot-ae-toe i say po-tat-toe"

"Kay no one says pot-ae-toe" i replied mimicking her tone.

"Oh shut up" she said throwing a pillow at me.

Ever since Katie had met Harry they had been inseparable, always texting and chatting, all while flirting constantly. I could tell she really liked him and by the looks of things he really liked her too.

BEEP BEEP i heard as i struggled to pull mine and Kay's cases down the stairs.

DING DONG

"Kay the boys are here, can you answer the doors please"

I watched as Kay opened the door without even asking if i needed a hand, typical, but honestly how much stuff had that girl packed.

"HARRY!"

I watched as Kay jumped on harry. And then let him and the rest of the boys in.

"Can i get you guys anything?" Kay asked.

"No" they all answered in unison.

"Nice place you got here" I guessed it was Niall who was talking by the heavy Irish twang in his voice, not that i could see as i was still making my way down the stairs with Kay's 500+ bags.

"Thanks" i replied

"Jamie? Where are you?" Zayn shouted.

"Here!" i replied as they all appeared at the bottom of the stair case staring blankly at me. "Em... a little help here please?"

"Sure" i was surprised at Liam as he rang up the stairs to help me as the others made their way into the kitchen. Liam took 5 bags from me and took them down the stairs with ease. I was quite impressed at his strength but he was definitely a lot more muscular than he was.

"Thanks," i replied shyly as i reached the bottom step eventually. But then i tripped and found myself lying on top of him "OMG I'm so sorry" i said rather embarrassed.

"Don't worry about it" he said from underneath me laughing, "At least your voice is a lot stronger than you are" Liam giggled. Oh how I've missed his mesmerising laugh.

"Thanks" i said shyly finally looking up into his eyes. We just say there for a moment looking deep into each other's eyes. Remember me Liam just really look at me.

I heard people coming so i raced to my feet and helped him to his as well.

"You guys ready" Louis asked as he appeared at the door.

"Yeah" i replied just peering up at me.

"Weird" Louis whispered under his breath as he walked back into the kitchen.

Eventually we all spilled into the back of the car. I was sat sandwiched in-between Niall and Liam while Louis drove out of the drive way and onto the main road.

"Jay this is the first day of the rest of our lives." Kay said as she appeared from beside, i looked around to face her to see Harry's arm wrapped around her, if this trip was one thing it was definitely going to be interesting. We set off down the road all signing along to the radio; yes this trip was definitely going to be interesting.

Today this could be the greatest day of our lives...(8)
