"That's my name isn't it?" i replied hopefully. I really thought he remembered me and that he would walk over to me and it would just be like old times.

"Congratulations you have a call back" he replied flatly not even looking up to look at me.

"Didn't you hear what i just said? I don't want to come on stupid tour with YOU!" i replied emphasising the YOU as i spoke as all of the others seemed to be surprisingly nice.

"Look it was you who came and auditioned"

"No i came and sang"

"Jamie just go then we've got plenty of other people who would kill for this opportunity." Liam almost shouted as he stormed out of the theatre.

I stood in shock for a while just staring at the door. By the expressions on the boys' faces i guess they were as shocked as i was.

"Well it was nice meeting you guys" i said cheerily breaking the tension that surrounded the heavy air. "Good luck on tour guys I'm sure you'll be amazing" I walked out of the theatre. Just as i was about to head out the double doors i heard a heavy Irish accent calling my name. "Jamie" i turned around in shock.

"Oh... Hey Niall..." i smiled

"Look please come back for an audition tomorrow"

I turned my back on him and started walking away.

"Please Jamie you're the best person we've had audition by FAR" he said pleadingly

"Il think about it okay" i said, it was so hard to resist his boyish charm. I watched as his eyes lit up as i spoke.

"Great! See you tomorrow then" he replied with a wink, as he ran back to tell the boys the news.

"So... how did it go?" i was greeted by my best friend Kate as i strolled into my flat.

"I got a call back..." i replied bleakly.

"Yesssssssssss" she screamed as she jumped about with excitement. Then she sensed my mood. "Wait why aren't you doing the happy dance?"

"Because Kay... i don't want a call back..."

"Why NOT Jay i mean it one bloody direction for crying out loud! There the Take That of our generation, why don't you want that, sold out tours all over the country."

"Because i didn't go for the tour... I went for Liam" i said quite embarrassed. It hit me then and their how much it hurt for him not to recognise me. I guess i didn't mean as much to him as i thought back then. I used to be his everything but now he didn't even know who i was.

"Oh Jay I'm so sorry... I really thought he would have recognised you babe"

"Yea me too..."

"Listen to me," Kate said as she sat down next to me. "You need to go back to the audition tomorrow." I opened my mouth to speak but she silenced me. "Who cares about Liam? Eh? If you got a call back then the other boys must've liked you"

"But i don't know how I'd cope, you know seeing him everyday"

"Jay... This is a once in a life time opportunity, all you've ever wanted to do is sing, don't let some stupid boy who's too stuck up to remember you ruin it"

I never replied i just sat there in silence, thinking about what she had just said. "Fine i replied. "But only if you come with me"

"Are you kidding? Just you try to keep me away "she said winking at me. "Harry styles meet your match!" We sat laughing for half an hour before i went to bed to get some rest for my big day tomorrow.
