"Ashton." Michael smiled, stroking his blonde locks. "I thought you moved on." Ashton shook his head no. "Michael," he whispered, stroking the boys arms. "What have you done?!" He asked softly but sternly.
Michael looked down and completely forgot about his cuts. All he could think about was Ashton and so he got drunk an depressed and started cutting a few months back.
"It was a few months ago I promise baby." Michael said. "Michael, don't lie to me. These are fresh." He said frowning at him. "Look, don't worry about me." Michael said sitting back in his previous spot on the couch.
"No Michael. I am worried about you." He said sitting beside him and grabbing his right hand.
"I'm fine Ashton." Michael groaned. "No your not. Your drinking to." Calum and Luke both looked over at Ashton who gave them the 'leave now' stare.
They rushed back into the room as Ashton stared at Michael waiting for a response. "Fine. I'm cutting I'm drinking I'm a pathetic asshole who eats pizza and played GTA5 every day for the last 2 years." He admitted. Ashton groaned as if he was done.
Ashton looked at Michael, concern in his eyes. "Michael." He continued, "Why?" He asked tugging on his arm a bit. "You." Is all he said. Because it was true. For the past two years Michael thought he could get his life straightened out, move on with his relationships, find someone, settle down.
But he was wrong. All he could think about was Ashton, and how he was, and how his lips felt on Michael's and how they'd be reunited.
But after a while they didn't text and he was getting worried Ashton didn't like him. So Michael didn't text him anymore. He let him be. Because he loved him. And then he started getting depressed and having-bad dreams.
It was silent until Michael decided to speak up. "I'm sorry Ashton. But I think I need to go. I'll be back by 10." He said standing up and grabbing his phone. "No wait Michael."
"Bye." Michael said kissing his forehead before exiting the house. He got in the car and decided to drive down to the local bar. He walked up and gave Jimmy the money. He works there.
Michael has been there so much that they became friends and he knows exactly what Michael wants every time he comes in. He nodded his head and mixed a drink together. As he set it down in front of Michael, he asked, "what you here for this time Clifford?"
"Boyfriend is back in town and he's upset about me cutting and drinking." Michael shrugged. "Ashton?" He asked. Mike nodded his head yes as he took a drink of the fine alcohol.
But it was just a drink. He had already finished one. Jimmy quickly gave him him his second one as they discussed what had happened. "Well Fuck. He's probably upset you left. I mean, it's been two years and you leave him to get a drink."
"Yeah. I know I shouldn't have, but I needed a way out of the discussion." He said, finishing his 5th. "You be able to make it home? Those things are beasts."
"Yeah I'm fine. Nice catching up Jim." Michael said, standing up. "You too man." He said bro hugging Mike. He walked out of the bar and checked the time. 10:34. "Fuck." He mumbled, getting in the car.
One the way home, he inserted his blink CD and rocked out. Once he reached the house, he stepped out of the car and up to the door. He nervously turned the knob as he entered his house. Ashton was sleeping on the couch, with tear stain.
"Fuck Michael you screwed up everything again." Michael said to himself. "Ashton." He whispered. Ashton whined, but sat up noticing it was Michael. "Hey," Mike smiled, hugging Ashton "You've been drinking Mikey."
"I'm so sorry." He said, sitting on the couch. Ashton was to tired to respond. Michael reached over and grabbed a blanket to keep them warm and scooted underneath Ashton. Ash snuggled into Michael and the blanket as he fell asleep again.
