Secret between us

What the hell just occurred

 Alex POV:

It has been a week since we moved here.

I've been chilling, decorating my room, going on walks and trying to find new things to do here.

So...i considered my dad's advice on going to an Art school and I found the State Academy of Fine Arts, which is the best Art school in Germany.

Guess what? I'm nervous. 

Today is going to be my first day there...and I've been trying to figure out which classes I'm gonna be more interested in...

Poetry.

Well, and maybe photography...Who knows?

It's 6 am and I don't wanna sleep or take a nap anymore.

I feel perfectly fine for school.

i rush downstairs, all dressed up with my oversized jeans, a black crop top, a black oversized jacket and black converse. 

Basic but ok.

-" Hi sunshine...Ya estas lista?" - My dad says with the Car keys in his hand.

-" Yeah Dad, just let me grab an apple". - I reply as I go to the kitchen and find my mom making breakfast for her and dad.

I look at her and she ignores me.

She doesn't even congratulate me for this, or say good morning.

i decide to break the ice as usual: 

-"good morning"- I say grabbing my apple.

-"Make sure you don't get yourself distracted with gay people".- She says back.

-"Mom, What the hell?"- I say.

"Get the fuck out of here, you dyke." - she says.

I leave the kitchen, with tears on my face.

I had the feeling this was gonna happen but I thought that things could change this time.

I guess not.

-"Let's go dad".  - I say whipping my tears.

He notices them, but says nothing.

Of course...he loves me very much, but he'll always be in my mom's side.

I rush and open the door to get inside of the car, and turn on the music to get these thoughts off my head....

My family doesn't support me.

If they don't love me the way I am, who will? 

Suddenly "Fast Love" by George Michael starts playing and I feel better.

We're here, The State Academy of Fine Arts.

This looks fancy....Good to know they most classes in English.

-"Goodbye sweetie, I gotta get to work now". - He says, asking me to leave the car.

I don't say a thing, I just give him a dull smile and start walking towards the school.

I see all the people entering the gate door, it's so many people.
