It was Friday, the night of the storm

I was sat in my cell reading a book, sister Mary Eunice got it for me so i wouldn't snitch

She knew that i wouldn't snitch, i had no reason to. I was confused why she got the book, it was probably to bribe me later

"Hey"
She opened the door
"Movie time"

I stood up

"Do you wanna know who sells their soul to you?"
I asked
"Or are you waiting for it yourself"

"I'll find out"
She said
"You wanna know who saved a seat next to them?"

"Who?"
I asked

"Your little Kit"
She snickered
"You have him wrapped around your finger. Was that the plan for when you came here?"

"I came here on accident. I thought you knew everything about everything"
I teased

We walked in just as sister Jude walked out

I scanned my eyes over the crowd, one head was facing the wrong way looking for someone

He caught my attention by waving me over

"Hey"
I said, sitting down
"I haven't seen you in a while"

"Eh, i was getting tested on"
He sighed
"So when are we getting out of here?"

I looked at Lana, she was keeping an eye on us

"Now"
I said, standing up

Me, grace and kit walked away and down the hall. A woman, Shelly, met with us. I could trust her

"Okay- there should be an old tunnel that leads to the woods, assuming it's really there"
I sighed

"It's there. That touched nun brought me through it"
Lana said, she had followed us
"I'll show you, just take me with you"

Grace pushed her against a wall

"Screw you, you had your chance"
She huffed

"I was wrong about you, I'm sorry"
Lana looked at kit
"But someone i love may be in danger"

"She's already dead"
I coughed

"What?"
Lana snapped her head to look at me

"I said 'well we need to hurry then'"
I lied

"We can't trust her, she'll raise the alarm"
Grace said

"Well..."
Kit looked at me, waiting for a response

"She won't. I can promise that. I'll stop her from raising the alarms if she even so tries"
I said

"What?"
Grace asked

"We don't have time to argue. Trust y/n. Cmon"
Kit said, he grabbed my sleeve. I grabbed lanas

He peeked around the corner

"Shit"
He hissed
"A guards out there"

"What are we gonna do?"
Grace asked, i looked at the girl who had met up with us

"Whatever we have to. We may not get another chance. we're going through that door"
He explained

"You're not taking down Carl!"
Shelly hissed

"Hey, lady. If your not gonna do anything... i will"
I understood the dangers of what i was about to do. I took a deep breath and tried to walk out

Kit grabbed my arm and slammed me against the wall

"You are not getting yourself caught"
He hissed
"You're too reliable"

"Fine. I'll make sure you guys get through that door"
Shelly said
"Just try and wait for me"

"Wait for you?"
Grace asked

"If you can't, if i don't make it out, make sure you write the story that blows the doors off of this place"
She said
"Don't forget about me"

Shelly walked out

"Shelly, what are you doing out here?"
The guard asked

"I got bored"
She sighed

"Yeah, you're always bored"
The guard noted
"You need to be in that movie with the others. Go on"

"I've already seen it. The Christians get eaten. I rather be eating something else"
She said, kit let go of me

"Shelly, i don't have time. The Mexicans missing"
The guard said

"Did you check the hydrotherapy room? I'll help you look"
Shelly smiled, pulling the guard away

I grabbed Lana and kit

"Cmon grace"
I said, running to the door

I ran through it, guiding the others

"I don't see a door"
Kit said

"It's here"
I moved a few boxes out the way

"How'd you know that?"
Lana asked

"I just do"
I said, sprinting through it

Everyone followed behind

It was pouring with rain outside, i was getting drenched

"We have to wait for Shelly"
I said, standing in the rain

We all stood around, the rain soaking each one of us

"Okay, it's been long enough"
Kit said after a few minutes
"Any minute now, they'll notice we're missing"

"Well.. we'll get her out sooner or later, Cmon"
I said, starting to run off

"Wait!"
Grace said
"Theirs a road up there. Once we get there that's where we split form Lana. That's as far as we're taking her"

We all agreed and ran through the forest

Lana tapped something with her door as she was running

She screamed

"I think we found the Mexican..."
Grace announced

I heard growling in the distance, i walked over to kit

"I forgot this part"
I said
"Shit"

"What do we do?"
Kit asked

"RUN BACK"
I screamed, running back to the asylum

"Wait? Why?"
Kit called

"TO CUT IT SHORT, ZOMBIES"
I yelled, Grace and mama screamed. They all caught up to me

We all sprinted into the cellar, the zombie things chased us

We all ran through the door, kit locked it. We all heard a thump

"Crap"
I sighed
"Sorry, i forgot about that"

"Forgot about what?!?"
Lana hissed

"Uhh.."
I sighed, thinking of a lie
"The things! The things out there! I heard roomers and old tales but i didn't think they were true! We have to get back"

We all ran back into the common room and took our seats

A few seconds later, everything switched off and the lights turned on

Sister Jude walked to the middle of the room

"Movie night is at an end. Listen up. There will not be another movie night nor any other special privileges in the foreseeable future. And for that, you can thank four scofflaws who abused my goodwill"
Jude turned to look at us, we were still drenched from the rain. Thankfully she was only looking around the room
"A sex craved Deviant, a Mexican, a pinhead and a doctor won't get far in this storm. I hope they all drown out there. Lights out in ten minutes"

We let out a sigh of relief

"Good call to run back"
Kit whispered to me
