Part five

Me and kit were sat in Jude's office, sister Mary Eunice looked at a cane

Before Jude came in, i stood up and grabbed her

"You better do something about this, because I'm going to bleed out and technically die if this happens"
I hissed
"And kit will kill every soul in here. Including you. And you wouldn't be able to inhabit his body"

I lied, thinking that'll scare her

"Sit back down"
She said
"I'll see what i can do"

I sat back down, kit looked at me

"You two are far too familiar. You're drawn to each other like the serpent and the apple. Are you purposely trying to make a deranged psycho baby?"
Jude asked

"Kit didn't kill anyone"
I said
"I heard his story, he was framed"

"Just give us our beating and get over with it"
Kit said

"I think a more reliable stern needs to be taken, sterilisation, for the both of you"
She smiled

"You can't do that"
Kit said

"Just call thredson in here, he'll sort it out"
I said
"I've got.. separation anxiety, apparently, and kits.. I've Uhh.. I've been drawn to kit"

A guard walked in and spoke with Jude, i looked at Mary Eunice

"Yes, sister"
Mary said
"It's a poor common thing that happens to.. people like her. I think it'll be more cruel if they got split up for a long period of time"

"Okay, take them to solitary"
She said
"I'll think about it"

I got dragged out by Mary, kit got dragged out by the guard

"Kit, look, thredsons gonna try and bribe you with my escape if you confess everything you've done. Do not confess. No matter what"
I hissed
"He's a liar"

I got pulled away by Mary, once we were out of sight she let go of me

"I'm pregnant"
I confessed

"How'd you guess that already?"
She hummed

"I know everything about everything, this part of the story.. kits lover gets pregnant and bleeds out.. she almost dies but gets taken away by aliens. When I'm gone, when nobody can find me.. i want you to tell kit that i have died. I also want you to write up a death certificate. Also, do not let thredson get his hands on my blood"
I ordered

"Very well"
She rolled her eyes
"What's in it for me?"

"In the future, I'll guide your son to bring the end times. Promise?"
I said
"But only Michael"

"You better"
She said, putting me in a cell
"See you soon"

I heard someone get out in the cell next to mine

"Hey, kit? Are you alright?"
I asked

"Yeah, are you?"
He answered

"Uhh.. as good as I'll ever be.. i guess"
I sighed
"Kit, I'm going to die"

"What?"
He asked

"I.."
I shuddered
"I'm going to die. No matter how much thredsons going to convince you, refuse to admit the murders. He'll record it, then turn in the tapes"

"What do you want me to do..?"
He asked
"To.. make it right"

"You need to tell sister Jude that you don't remember about murdering the women but you feel sorry that it happened... talk about god and that jazz"
I instructed
"Throw a few tears in. You gotta keep an opened mind, kit, Jude isn't the horrible person she claimed and acts like.. you need to be patient"

"Okay, i trust you"
He sighed

"Your not crazy, kit"
I assured him
"Just do your best"

It was the next day, i had an amazing nights sleep for some reason. Kit had talked to Jude and all was well

The day of the surgery was apparently today

"Are you afraid?"
Kit asked

"Nah"
I hummed, leaning against the wall

"I don't believe you"
He stated

"Well that's a you problem"
I sighed

"Alma and i always wanted kids"
He started
"We always talked about having two or three. Always tomorrow"

"And now there'll be no tomorrow"
I said
"For either of us"

"I'm so sorry"
Kit sighed
"I got us into this mess.."

"Nah, i don't regret what we did"
I smiled
"There's no one to blame"

There was distant footsteps, someone opened lord door

"Now?"
I heard kit ask

"Yes"
Mary Eunice said
"If you hurry you might be able to have supper"

"Supper?"
Kit asked
"I thought you were taking me to the operation"

"No, kit. Sister Jude changed her mind. She said that you showed signs of true redemption. You're being released from solitary"
Mary announced

"What about y/n?"
Kit asked

"Oh, i haven't forgotten about her"

I heard them all shuffle away, Mary walked into my cell

"Thank you so much"
I rushed towards her and hugged her
"You're a life saver"

"I know"
She smiled

"So, is the procedure soon?"
I asked

"Yes, no food 12 hours before"
She hummed

"Okay, alright"
I nodded
"Remember what i told you"

She walked out of my cell and closed the door

I sat on my bed, waiting for the aliens to take me and screw up the sterilisation

An hour or so went past, a bright white light was outside the door. It burst open, whatever it was took me away
