Teju: This is so beautiful and peaceful ",she said, taking in the beautiful scenery of the waves crashing on the shore and returning back to the sea. The memories on the beach rushed to her mind in a full swing. It was on the beach when they had confessed their liking for each other and had their first kiss.
Karan: Is my baby dreaming about me again? "he asked with a cheeky grin playing on his lips for which she threw the sand on him making him stunned.
They had finished eating and decided to come to a beach to chill out. It was late but they didn't care as they had each other's.
Karan: Are you kidding me? "he asked, making her come out from her thoughts.
Damn!
Teju: I am sorry, Karan. I didn't mean to. Peace. "she tried to make peace with him but he didn't seem like a person who would accept her peace; he looked more like a person ready to tear her into a piece.
He grabbed her quickly before she could take a step back and pulled her towards him and did the thing that least expected from him.
He tickled her.
Teju: Hahahahahahaha---stop--hahah--Kar--hahaha--
Karan-- stopp-- hahahahaahaha ",she laughed loudly, not able to control her tickling sensation.
She fell on the sand with a thud but he didn't seem to mind it and kept tickling her hovering over her. He stopped his cruel action after what felt like an eternity taking all of her strength out of her body by making her laugh like a maniac.
Teju: You're so cruel ",she blamed and pouted at him.
In turn he gave a cheeky smile and pulled her cheeks. Karan: Cutie pie.
Teju: I am so tired. Today was a day full of emotions and I am totally exhausted", she said leaning on his shoulders and made herself comfortable by closing her eyes.
Do you have the energy to go back home? "he asked in a concerned, caring voice.
Teju: No ", she whined. "But we have no other choice. So, let's go ",she said in a tired voice and slowly opened her eyes to see his concerned eyes.
Karan:.....
Teju: What happened are you okay? "She asked in a concerned voice.
Karan: Umm won't you ask me about that day? He asked with a soft voice.
Teju: I have so many questions I just don't know how to ask them.
Karan: You can ask me everything you, and I will answer truthfully.
Teju: Sure?
Karan nodded his head.
Teju: Okay so who was that girl and why were you guys kissing in your cabin? Do you know how hurt I was seeing that. I know I should have asked you questions but me being a coward I ran away😔
Karan: No don't call yourself a coward look if I was in your place then I would have probably done worse. But you just left didn't say anything, but me god knows what I would have said.
Teju: Okay so tell me everything now.
Karan: Okay
Flashback
Karan was in his cabin when the girl came in.
Karan: You! What are you doing here?
Girl: Hey! I missed you.
Karan: Riya have you gone mad? What are you doing here?
Riya: Why can't I come and meet you?
Karan:  No you can't have you forgotten what you did to me?
Riya: I am sorry Karan, I know what I did was wrong but please can we get back together?
Karan: No!!!!! We can't you really think after all that you did to me I will get back with you? And anyways I like someone else.
Riya: You do?
Karan: Hmm
Riya: No that's not possible please say it's a lie?
Karan: Unfortunately it's not
Riya: Let me guess that girl is Tejasswi?
Karan: Hmm. Karan nodded
Riya looked at him feeling angry, sad and disappointed.
Karan: Now can you leave I have work to do🙄
Riya: Okay!
Riya then was leaving and she opened the door a little when she saw teju coming to Karan's cabin when....
Riya: Umm Karan
Karan: What now? He said frustrated
Riya: Actually.....
Riya kept going close to him and purposely trip and fell on Karan's lap and Karan was shocked and then riya hugged him and that was when teju entered but because of the angle she thought that they were kissing.
The Next day Riya followed him to his house.
Karan: Riya would you stop following me
Riya: No never I love you Karan why don't you get it?
Karan: Hmmph yeah right. He said as he rolled his eyes.
Riya: No I do and I really regret what I did that day I am sorry. But now I really do love you please can we get back together?
Karan: No! No means No. he said shouting
Riya: Why? She faked cried
Karan: I told you I like someone else and because of you now our relationship is at stake and I have to go fix it so get out of my way.
Riya: No I won't.
Karan: Gahhh what's this new obsession with me riya, just bloody leave me alone.
Riya: Fine you want me to leave then okay.
Karan: Thank you and please leave my house. He said sternly
Karan then turned the other side and was leaving
Riya Then saw a knife near a table she took it and cut her wrist.
Riya: Karan. She shouted in a low tone
Karan then turned and looked back frustrated
Karan: What now. He said with a frustrated voice.
Riya: Good bye. She said with tears
Karan: Yeah good bye
Just then riya fell down on the ground and Karan saw the blood that was coming on her wrist.
Karan: Riya what the hell, why did you do this?
Riya: because I want you and if I can't get you then I deserve to die. I know I did wrong with you in the past but I love you now. She said as she was about to lose conscious.
Riya's eyes then closed and Karan got scared.
Karan: Riya get up.... Riya? Shit I have to take her to the hospital before it's late.
Karan then carried riya to his car and drove to the hospital. He reached the hospital and the doctor took riya into the ward.
The nurse gave riya's stuff to Karan and that's when riya's mom was calling on her phone.
Karan: Shit now what will I tell them? I have to pick up anyways I have to tell them. He said in a worried voice
The phone rang again and Karan picked it up this time.
He picked it up when he heard riya's mom worried voice.
Riya's mom: Hello riya beta where are you? Are you okay?
Karan: Hello!
Riya's mom: Hello who is this?
Karan: Hello umm this is riya's friend right now she is in the hospital please come fast.
Riya's mom: What!!! What happened to my daughter?
Karan: Just come to xyz hospital and I will tell you everything.
The call then ended.
Quickly a woman and a man came asking for riya.
Karan: Hello!
Riya's mom: Were you the one who answered the phone?
Karan nodded
Riya's mom: What happened to her?
Karan: She cut her wrist
Riya's mom: What!! Riya's mom started crying and held on riya's dad
Riya's dad: It's her obsession again, I told you Anita we should have took her to a psychiatrist long time but you didn't listen now look what she has done.
Karan was shocked hearing that
Karan: Sorry to interfere but why would you take her to the psychiatrist? She was fine whenever I saw her?
Aunty: Beta riya loves this guy, and she is obsessed with him and she told us that she was planning to go tell him that she loves him and she is sorry for betraying him at first. And she wants to start afresh with him, but yesterday she came back and told us that she confessed her feelings to the guy but the guy likes someone else and has moved on, so we told her to forget him but she said that she won't and she wants him by hook or by crook.
Karan was surprised that where did this obsession of riya come from. She wasn't this obsessed when they were together so now????
Riya's dad brought Karan back from his thoughts
Riya's Dad: Thank you beta for bringing her on time and saving her. By the way how did you find her?
Karan: Uncle I am the guy who riya loves
Riya's parents were shocked
Riya's mom: Beta tum Karan ho?
Karan nodded looking down
Karan: I am sorry I didn't think she will do something like this but all I told her is that I have moved on and she should too but....
Uncle: No Beta it's not your fault, the fault is Riya's obsession which she needs to get rid off.
Karan: Hmm
Just then the doctor came and told them that riya is out of danger but she keeps saying Karan's name. The doctor then told them to not give her stress. They then went to meet her and riya got happy seeing Karan.
Riya: You are here? Come. Riya said as she opened her arms telling Karan to come to her.
Karan then looked at Riya's parents and her parents were like telling him with their eyes to go to her.
Karan sighed and went to her and hugged her.
Riya: You won't leave me?
Karan: .....
Riya: Karan say something
Riya's dad: Arey riya beta we are also here won't you meet us and why did you do this, do you know how worried me and your mumma were.
Riya's mom: Exactly you didn't even think about us
Riya: Sorry mumma, sorry dad
Her parents then hugged her
Riya's parents then went outside Riya's dad went to pay the bills while riya's mom went to get her daughter something to eat. In the room only riya and Karan were together.
Riya: Karan
Karan: Hmmm
Riya: You still haven't answered me, you won't leave me now right?
Karan: Riya you are sick and right now you need rest so lie down and sleep.
Riya: No first answer me
Karan: Riya stop being stubborn and rest we will talk later. Karan was already frustrated with everything going on with him and teju and now this.
Riya: No first answer meeeee. She shouted and started throwing stuff around.
Hearing all this the doctor came and her parents also came. The doctor gave her an injection and she fell asleep.
Riya's dad: Doctor what happened to her?
Doctor: She had a panic attack, I told you please don't give her stress. What happened?
Karan: She just kept asking me if I won't leave her and I told her to rest so she started reacting like that.
Doctor: Please be careful next time
The doctor then left.
Riya's mom: Beta please I have one request.
Karan: What request Aunty? He asked nervously as he had a hint what she would request for and he was scared.
Riya's mom: please don't leave our riya till she is okay.
Karan: What!! No you know that's not possible.
Riya's mom: Please beta.
Riya's dad: Please beta once she is okay we will make her understand.
Karan: I have to think about this.
Karan said and he left from there.
Riya's mom: I hope he agrees, I can't see riya like this.
Riya's dad: Me too but we can't force someone.
Riya's mom: But riya....
Riya's dad: I know let's just see
They hugged then
Karan went home and kept thinking about everything. He was so stressed he didn't know what to do.
After few days
It was when teju called Karan to meet and talk about everything but Karan got a call and ran away without telling Teju anything. The call was riya's mom she called telling him that riya fainted again. They told karan not to tell anyone anything as they didn't want anyone to know what their daughter was going through so they took a promise from Karan to not tell anyone about Riya's health. But when om came and made him understand it was too late. After teju left to US karan was a mess but he would still keep his promise and go meet riya, as riya was getting better riya's parents made her understand what she is doing is wrong. At first she didn't understand but after looking at Karan's pale face and sad eyes she felt like she was responsible for what was happening with him if she didn't purposely fall that day then maybe karan and teju would have been together.
Karan was feeding riya soup it's been 2 weeks since the incident riya was getting better and Karan was tired of pretending to be with Riya, what he didn't know was that riya's parents told her a few days ago but riya was still adamant of being with Karan but then she saw that Karan is not even smiling with her or even talking properly with her it's like he lost his charm and she felt bad as she felt like she was caging him and forcing him to love her when he doesn't even love her.
Riya: Karan. She called him softly
Karan: Hmmm
Riya: Do you love her? She asked him looking at him intensely.
Karan: Who?
Riya: Teju
Karan chuckled and stopped feeding riya the soup.
Riya: What happened?
Karan: What's the point, she left me. He said sadly
Riya: And you let her go?
Karan: She told me not to follow her.
Riya: I am sorry. She said genuinely
Karan: For what?
Riya: After everything I did in the past to you, you are still here looking after me.
Karan: It's fine, maybe it's in my fate to never fall in love because every time I have fallen in love I have gotten hurt. But Teju promised me she will be back.
Riya: You think so? Do you love her that much that you will wait for her for as long as it takes?
Karan: Hmm all I know is that I have never loved someone like her, even though it was late when I realized my feelings but I know she will be back for me one day. He said with hope in his eyes and heart and riya could see that. Riya had enough and thought she doesn't want to hurt anyone anymore.
Riya: You can go now. She said without looking at him
Karan looked at her
Riya: What? Why are you looking at me? I said you can go now. She said as she took the bowl of soup which Karan was holding for her.
Karan: Riya!
Riya: Karan I can't keep holding you like this when you love someone else, I have accepted this that you will never love me again. It's been 2 weeks since that incident and you are going through so much but still you are here to support me, even after everything I did with you in the past. But now am done I don't want to force you anymore to be with me, you took care of me these past 2 weeks, you stayed with me, you fed me food and even spent time with me even though I know you didn't like doing it for me but you still did that just shows how big of a heart you have and there is me who's heart is nothing like yours. I was selfish thinking I could get you again, thinking you could love me again but I was wrong your heart doesn't belong to me anymore it now belongs to someone else and now I will not force you to be with me anymore so you don't have to pretend that you are with me to make me better as I am fine now I understand everything and trust me I am fine so you can go now and thank you for everything.
Karan was surprised by this confession of riya
Karan: Thank you riya for understanding
Riya nodded
Riya: I hope we can be friends again? Just friends?
Karan: Of course
Riya: Also sorry again
Karan: For what
Riya: That day at your office where all the problems started I purposely tripped because I saw Teju coming and I wanted to ruin your relationship I am sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. She said as tears came out of her cheeks.
Karan: Well you have ruined it though.
Riya looked down because he was right teju is not with him anymore she ruined their relationship. And then she forced him to be with him but still she couldn't make him fall in love with her as his heart now belongs to teju.
Riya: I am sorry again. She said as she was on a verge of crying.
Karan got mad and left from there angrily but he kind of expected it.
Riya's mom saw Karan leaving angrily and went to riya's room to talk to her.
Riya's mom: Beta what happened why did Karan leave angrily?
Riya: Because I told him everything mumma
Riya then told her mom everything
Riya's mom: I am so proud of you bacha, you took the right decision of letting Karan go. Now you need to move on as well.
Riya: I know mumma and I will don't worry.
She said as she hugged her mom.
Karan's house
Karan was sitting with om and told him everything.
Om: I can't believe this, riya did something like this.
Karan was looking down
Om: Are you okay?
Karan: No yaar I miss her it's been 2 weeks since she left me to suffer.
Om: I am sure she is suffering too
Karan: I know she is suffering too, even though she didn't say she loved me but I know she does love me. Gosh I need her man, you know if it wasn't because of her promise I would have gone to her right now but her promise is holding me.
Om: So you will wait for her?
Karan nodded
Karan: For as long as it takes
After a few days
Riya came to meet Karan in his office
Karan: Riya!!
Riya: Hey don't worry I am not here for anything but I am just here to say a last thank you and a good bye.
Karan: Good bye?
Riya: Don't worry not like the last goodbye. She said chuckling.
Riya: I am leaving for London tomorrow to start afresh, I will be focusing on my life now. So thank you for everything honestly.
Karan just kept looking at her
Riya: Can we have a last goodbye hug?
Karan nodded
They hugged and riya then left
Flashback ends
Teju: So you are telling me I ruined our 2 years just Because of a misunderstanding?
Karan: Not really we both basically ruined our 2 years.
Teju: So how is riya now?
Karan: She is doing better I don't really talk to her that much but all I know is she is focusing on her work and life now.
Teju: That's great for her.
Karan. yeah, I am sorry again for not telling you everything.
Teju: It's okay Karan it's all good now. She said as she hugged him.
Karan: Thank you for giving me, giving us a chance", Karan said again.
Teju: I am gonna kill you if you say that again", she mumbled.
He then carried her in his arms and walked his way towards the car.
Teju: I love you Karan! "She shouted loudly from his arms to which he chuckled loudly enhancing his handsome physical features.
Karan: I love you too Teju! ",Karan too shouted, making her giggle like a teenage girl who is in love which is totally true.
To the outsiders, they both looked like a couple completely lost in the embrace of love for one another which is completely true!
They may fight over the stupidest things in the world but at the end of the day, their love would always shine for them, keeping them together in each other's embrace.

Phew this the longest chapter I have ever wrote 3384 words gosh😅and weirdly it's not even about teju and Karan haha. Hope y'all like this part so as many of you guys don't want me to end this story soon, so maybe I will extend some few chapters and maybe see their love life's a little I don't know honestly. Also if I disappear again just know I am busy sorry in advance🙈.
