Giving 2 updates today sorry for not updating faster been pretty busy😩

Teju went to Karan's car quickly as he was waiting for her in his car and they left for the meeting. The place was around 3-4 hours away and they were quiet the entire time. Teju was trying so hard to ignore Karan so he doesn't bring up the kiss and Karan wanted to talk to Teju, so he decided to break the ice.

Karan: Uhm Ms. Prakash, how are you?
Teju: Am good sir, why?
Karan: Uhm nothing.
And they went silent again.

Karan in his mind: Gosh I was trying to start a conversation but this girl🙄
Teju in her mind: Shit why is he talking to me, can't he keep quiet😏

Karan: We have reached!
Teju: Yeah let's go.
They went inside Mr. Khurana's office and they were greeted by his assistant.

Mr Khurana's assistant: Hello sir, hello ma'am Mr Khurana is waiting for you in his cabin, and am his assistant let's go and I'm gonna take you to his cabin.
Teju: Uhm don't call me ma'am, I am also an assistant.
Mr Khurana's assistant: Oh my bad.
Teju: It's fine, don't worry. And they both chuckled.

Mr Khurana's assistant led teju and Karan to Mr Khurana's cabin and Mr Khurana welcomed them.

Mr Khurana: Hello Mr kundrra, hello Ms?
Teju: Prakash
Mr Khurana: Hello Ms Prakash.
Karan: Mr Khurana it's a pleasure to be working with you.
Mr Khurana: Well i should say the same
And they both chuckled.

Mr Khurana: Please have a seat, you want anything? Coffee, tea or anything?
Karan: No, I'm good.
Mr Khurana: What about you Ms?
Teju: Uhm, I'm good sir, thank you.
Mr. Khurana: Okay well let's start our meeting then.

In the meeting Mr Khurana was just staring at teju the entire time and teju felt pretty uncomfortable but she didn't want to tell Karan that as this deal was very important for the company.

Karan: Okay thank you so much, we will take your leave now.
Mr Khurana: Okay thank you, see you soon I hope.
While they were about to leave they shook hands with Mr Khurana and Mr Khurana kept holding teju's hand and teju felt weird, and just then Karan called teju and Mr Khurana let go of teju's hand.

They went to Karan's car and Teju was thinking about what just happened with Mr Khurana, and she was pretty lost and Karan saw that.

Karan: Hey are you okay?
Teju was lost in her thoughts that she didn't hear him.
Karan: Ms Prakash, are you okay?
Teju: Hmm sorry what did you say?
Karan: I asked, are you okay? I mean you seem pretty lost ever since we came back from the meeting.
Teju in her mind: Oh god should I tell him about getting weird vibes from Mr Khurana, no no teju just shrugged it off am sure it was nothing.
Karan: Ms Prakash, are you okay?
Teju: Yeah, I'm fine.
Karan: Hey Uhm are you hungry? I think there is a Italian restaurant nearby so we can go there.
Teju: Okay!

They finally reached the restaurant and Karan booked a table and they went to sit after waiting to get a table.

Karan: So what will you have?
Teju: Uhm anything will do🤷🏻‍♀️
Karan: You sure? Here is the menu.
Teju took the menu and Analyzed it and then she finally decided what she wanted. And the waiter came and took their order.

Waiter: Sir, ma'am have you decided what you will have?
Karan: Yes, I will have a Lobster ravioli with caprese salad and white wine please.
Waiter: And you ma'am?
Teju: Uhm I will have spaghetti carbonara with French onion soup and white wine please.
Waiter: Okay just a second.
The waiter left and there was silence between them again, they both wanted to talk but they didn't after some time teju decided to say something.

Teju: Uhm sir, I want to say sorry.
Karan: Sorry! For what?
Teju: For the kiss. ( Teju said it with an embarrassed face)
Teju: I didn't mean it, and I was drugged that time so basically I was drunk and when am drunk I do the most stupid things so am really sorry. And I really regret it😫
Karan in his mind: What! She regrets the kiss😔 well technically it wasn't a proper kiss Karan🙄
Teju: Uhm sir! Are you there?
Karan: What?
Teju: No, I mean you were lost for a second.
Karan: Yeah yeah, all good Uhm you don't have to be sorry you weren't in your senses anyways.
Karan: Actually I should say sorry too, for whatever happened. I know we didn't start on a good note but hey can we be friends?
Teju was just sitting there staring at him like did Karan kundrra just ask her to be friends with him😳
Karan: Uhm Ms Prakash you there?
Teju: Sorry I got lost there for a minute. She chuckled
Karan: Yeah it's fine, look if you don't wanna be friends it's fine.
Teju: No no, I do, it's just that I didn't really expect it from you that's why.
Karan chuckled
Karan: Uhm Ms Prakash still waiting for the answer, will you be my friend?
Teju: I thought I already answered, Uhm yes I will be your friend. And they shake their hands.
And just then their food came. And as they were so hungry, they dug right in.

Karan: Ms Prakash, how's your food?
Teju: It's good, Uhm could you stop calling me Ms Prakash please?
Karan: Why? don't you like it?
Teju: No, I mean we are friends now so you can just call me Teja or Teju. That's what all my friends and family call me. It's easy.
Karan: Okay Ms Prakash, sorry sorry teju. He chuckled
Karan: And you can just call me Karan that's what all my friends call me🤷🏻‍♀️ he chuckled.
Teju: Well maybe outside the office not inside the office though.
Karan: Why not inside?
Teju: Uhm I don't know, I just don't want people to expeculate things.
Karan: Like?
Teju: like I'm dating you or something.
Karan: Am sure nobody is gonna care.
Teju: Oh I am pretty sure they will, everybody loves drama. Also, do any of the employees call you Karan at the office? No right? So yeah that's it🤷🏻‍♀️

And then they were done with their food and they left to go home and Karan went and dropped teju at her house.

Teju: Thank you for the food and for dropping me.
Karan: Pleasure have a good night.
And Karan drove off.
