Karan's room
She opened her eyes slowly and saw the room was still a bit dark as the curtains were closed. She looked to her side and didn't find Karan there. She then looked around and saw Karan by the dresser. She sat up, holding the bedsheet to her cleavage. She saw him tying his tie, looking at the mirror. She quickly looked at the time, thinking she woke up late as he is getting ready. But it was actually very early.
Karan: Good morning angel." She turned towards him and saw him smiling, looking at her through the mirror. Teju: Good morning." She lightly said. "Are you going to work this early!?" She asked.
Karan: Yeah. I had gotten a call and saw that I have a very important meeting today. It's with those same clients I had told you about the day you...got..." She understood what he meant. He wasn't trying to say kidnapped as he knows it might hurt her to think about it again.
He walked towards the bed, bending over and bringing his face closer to hers.
Karan: If today I win this deal it will be a turning point for our company." He pulled her closer and she tightly held the bedsheet. "I do deserve a good luck kiss, don't I?" She shook her head no but he came towards her. She quickly sealed her lips together, making him groan.
Karan: Seriously Teju!" She giggled at him and he said
Karan: I want a kiss!" He was asking it like a child who wants chocolates.
Teju: No." She said.
Karan: Why? Is it because you haven't brushed your teeth?" She nodded her head with a grin. Last night you were doing many things that weren't innocent one bit. This won't do anything Teju. It's just one kiss." Her face turned beetroot red thinking about last night. "You know the hickey you gave me. Well sadly it got covered by my shirt, including the scratch marks and I didn't even have to hide it using your concealer. But I wouldn't have minded it though. I wouldn't have covered it. Everyone should know my Girlfriend is very bold in bed." She hit his chest and he chuckled.
Karan: So a kiss?" She shook her head no again and he groaned.
He cupped her face, about to kiss her but his phone rang. Saved by the phone! He looked at the caller ID and back at her.
Karan: Today the phone saved you but tonight no one will be there to save you."
Teju: Stop thinking about tonight and first pick up the phone." He picked up the phone and soon said
Karan: I will bring the files. Which one's were they?" He kissed her forehead and took the phone off his ear, and said "Bye Love."
He left the room afterwards, after taking his blazer with him. She smiled thinking about him and his love. She still had an hour to spare before she usually wakes up.
But now she won't be able to fall back asleep either.
Might as well get ready. She bent a bit, picking up Karan's shirt from the ground and put it on. She then got out of bed, going inside the bathroom. She finished brushing her teeth and realized she had forgotten to bring her clothes. She went out to get them when she heard Karan's voice. " I found the file. I'll now reach there." She heard Karan say"
Teju: He's still here! A sudden idea popped up into her brain.

She quickly ran downstairs and went towards the door.
But she saw him opening the door to leave. She sighed and turned around to go back upstairs but was pulled back into a hard chest. She looked up and saw Karan grinning at her. She smiled and got on her tippy-toes. She pecked his lips quickly and said
Teju: Now you have your kiss!" She tried to get out of his hold but it was strong and then in a sudden he started devouring her lips. She held onto his shoulders and kissed him back. They later broke the kiss and she saw him smirking.
Karan: Now I have my kiss." He was about to kiss her again but she covered his mouth.
Teju: Go now!" She said pushing him. He rolled his eyes and said
Karan: I am!" She laughed and he blew a kiss at her, opening the door. By the way you look bomb in my shirt." She looked down, shyly and heard him chuckle. She waved at him and he waved back, leaving.

Karan's house
He was sitting inside their room, stressed. He was stressed on how to tell teju he needs to go to Paris. Not only for a few days but for 1 week. He had won the deal and they told him he need to come to Paris to conduct the project as it is a big project. He didn't know how Teju would react. Even he didn't want to leave her for so long.
Teju: What happened?" He looked up and saw teju sitting next to him. He quickly put on a fake smile and said
Karan: Nothing. I was just looking through these files.
He acted like he was looking at the file and in a second it was yanked out of his hand. He looked up and saw teju throwing the file on the bed.
Karan: Tej...
Teju: Karan tell me! I know something is making you tense. If you can't share your feelings with me then what type of a girlfriend am I? Sunny did I do something!?" He sighed and knew she knows there is something. He had to tell her now.
Karan: It's not you Teju. It's...
Teju: it's what? Did you not win the deal?
Karan: No no. I won the deal.
Teju: Then what?
He sighed once again and said
Karan: I won the deal but I need to go.
Teju: Go..?
Karan: I need to go to Paris for the project. For..1 week." There! He said it. He saw her eyes widen. But soon she relaxed.
Teju:1 week? it's okay. I'll just go with you." That was the problem. She can't.
Karan: You can't. You are going with your parents to a wedding remember? " Her face dropped, hurting him.
Teju: I can't stay without you for even a day and you are saying 1 week!" she half-yelled.
Karan in his mind: This is what I was worried about. "I was tensed about this.
Karan: I didn't want to tell you yet because I knew this would be your reaction." She groaned and said
Teju: Karan! Do you have to go!?"
He nodded, saying
Karan: If it wasn't important, I wouldn't go. But I need to be there because it's a big project.
A few minutes passed and none of them spoke. He was just tensed, thinking about her anger.
Teju: When are you going?" He looked up at her with shock after he heard her. He didn't expect this!
Karan: You're not angry!?
Teju: Why would I be angry? Karan I know I am important for you but your work is also important and you can't push your work. So you're going." He held her hands in his and said
Karan: Are you sure? If you want me to stay I could try to-
Teju: I'm sure Sunny! You're going to Paris." He smiled and hugged her.
Karan: What good deeds I have done in my past life that I got such an understanding Girlfriend." She hugged him back and said
Teju: Now don't butter me more." He chuckled and broke the hug. When are you going?" He scratched the back of his neck and muttered
Karan: In two days." He sheepishly smiled at her and she got up from the bed in anger.
Teju: Sunny you are gone!'
He also got up and quickly said
Karan: Sorry Laddoo!
They want this project to start quick." She threw a pillow at him, making him know she's angry.
Teju: This early! I thought I'd still have a few more days to spend with you.
Karan: Sorry-" She threw another pillow at him and he said
Karan: Don't abuse me at least." She kept throwing pillows at him so he started running around the room.
stopped running and when she came to him to throw the pillow at him, he held her wrist and pulled her towards him. They fell onto the bed and he was over her.
She was trying to push him off and he said
Karan: Sorry teju!
Teju: Sorry my foot!" she said with anger.
Karan: Please my cute hot innocent tempting girlfriend. "He showered kisses all over her face which finally made her smile. So...?
Teju: Fine! It's okay." He kissed her cheek and grinned.
Karan: And also do you remember what I had said this morning?" She was looking at him confused and he mischievously said "That no one will be here to save you tonight." Her eyes widened and her cheeks turned red. "Well it's night." He said, smirking. She pushed him and got on top of him.
Teju: It's night time which means it's time to sleep. Karan: Laddoo!" He groaned.
She giggled and kissed his nose, hugging him. He hugged her back and kissed the top of her head.

Sometimes you don't have to get physical to show how much you love each other. These little kisses and hugs express your love more.
