It's been so depressing lately I knew Larry would need a happy night to hold on to, so here it is
Enjoy!
Lila x"babyyyy," Louis called into the kitchen area of their hotel suite, "baby where are you?"
He shrieked a little as big hands wrapped around his neck from behind, not expecting Harry to be coming from the bedroom. He turned around and his breath hitched.
Harry was dressed in a plaid skirt that hit him mid thigh and a white crop top. "you like Lou?" He asked, posing with a goofy grin, hand on his hip
"I love babe," he kissed him gently, "would look better with a flower crown though," he mused
Harry laughed and hugged him softly, "well there's only one man I know who can create a flower crown pretty enough for this outfit."
"Pretty enough for your face," Louis corrected him, "and lucky for you m'lady, I happened to have gotten the prettiest flowers in all of Hong Kong for my angel,"
Harry smiled in delight as the two sat down on the couch, Louis fitting his ankles between Harry's as the taller lad leaned back and watched him weave the flower stems as he unpacked his purchases
"I miss Zayn," the green eyes man said as he pulled out some aftershave, "he hasn't been picking up my calls."
Louis sighed and laid the crown down on the armrest, pulling Harry into him, "I know baby, mine either." He whispered, planting a comforting kiss into his hair, "I think he just needs time."
A comfortable silence fell between them as Louis resumed his creation, Harry transfixed by watching his skilled fingers tie and weave expertly. It had been a week since Zayn left. From what Harry understood, he had messaged management just as the flight took off, earning him a few hours of peace. Management had been rougher than usual, angry that they didn't give them a heads up, struggling with the media backlash while they boys laid low, waiting for their flights back home for their month off-the longest they'd had in years-while management were figuring out a plan of action.
Harry and Louis were going to be spending the time together in London, in their princess park home, both families coming down too and staying in nearby hotels, wanting to spend time with the boys.
Niall and Liam would be going home. The boys had promised to give each other space while each one reacted in their own way, but to be there for each other if someone called or messaged.
"A flower crown for my beautiful angel," Louis said fondly, laying the crown on his head and adjusting his long curls so it sat perfectly on his head. "stand up babe, I want to take a picture."
Harry dimpled and complied, posing with one foot out and his hands clasped in front of him, looking off into the distance.
"So beautiful," Louis whispered gently.
"And one for you," Harry smiled, plucking a single rose and tucking it behind the shorter man's ear, chuckling at his mock scowl. "you love it babe, shut up." He giggled, turning his phone to selfie mode, butterflies breaking loose as Louis tucked his chin onto his shoulder to pose. It had been weeks really since they'd hung out in a carefree way, he realized with a pang, and he'd missed the comfortable nature of their relationship. Louis seemed to realise it too, because he turned to Harry, locking eyes with him and drinking him in.
"Date night baby?" He asked
"Would love to sunshine," Harry smiled happily "D'you reckon we can go out?" He asked
Louis felt his heart drop a little, recognizing the helpless feeling that came over him whenever he remembered that as free as they felt with each other, it still wasn't safe to act that way outside.
"Probably not with the whole scandal," he said softly, "but the hotel has a mean room service and the view from Niall's room is stunning so how about I take you on a grand date down the hall?"
Harry flung himself into his arms, cuddling into his chest before reaching up and kissing him passionately. "thank you," he whispered
"What for angel?" Louis asked, tracing a finger over his pink lips and adjusting the crown
"For making everything feel better even when it's all shit."
Louis smiled softly, ignoring the small voice in his head that was telling him how much more Harry deserved that he couldn't give him.
"I'd do anything for you baby, you know that right?" He said gently, kissing Harry back
"And I you," Harry grinned, hand on his heart, "what time should we go?"
"You don't worry about anything." Louis made a sudden decision, "just be ready at 7."
He turned to leave but the taller man grabbed him by the waist and kissed him again. "I will," he said lightly, "good thing you taught me how to do my makeup on my own."
Louis chuckled, "good thing indeed." Those lessons always ended up with either lazy handjobs or spa nights in bed, both things Louis had grown extremely fond of.
He pressed one more kiss to Harry's cheek and turned to go, grabbing his wallet and room key on the way out. "see you soon baby," he called out
"See you sunshine."
Louis hummed to himself, making a stop at Niall's room to confirm it would be okay to kick him out for a while before he went out to the shops. Letting himself in with his master key, he found Niall chilling on the couch with his guitar, watching TV, mindlessly strumming and talking in the phone at the same time.
"Alright Z, shut up." Niall laughed. Louis felt his heart lurch, how did Niall get through? He shrugged it off, reminding himself to focus as he creeped slowly over to Niall who still hadn't noticed him. "everyone's fine here, were laying low, don't worry." He continued, "no, I don't think they're targeting Liam too much." He shrugged, Louis paused directly behind him, poised to attack before changing his mind and creeping into the kitchen, grabbing a few ice cubes, grinning madly to himself, "...yeah, Larry seem happy again, we'll be alright really. Just take care of yourself bro." Louis tiptoed back behind the couch and raised his hands, "love you too Zaynie, rest up." Niall hung up and leaned back, just as Louis slipped four ice cubes down his back
"MOTHERFUCKER, HOLY GODDAMN SHOWER OF CUNTS." Niall swore loudly, launching himself at the Doncaster lad who dodged and ran for safety behind the armchair. Niall jumped on him laughing and dragged him by the hair to the freezer, dunking his whole head in.
Laughing madly, they both headed back to the couch, Niall flopping down and Louis standing over him, hands on hips, making the split second decision not to tell him he overheard.
"What the fuck bro?" Niall demanded, "also nice flower." Louis blushed and pulled it out, tucking it into Nialls blonde hair. "from Harry, enjoy," he smiled
"How is baby Hazza on this fine day?" Niall asked
"He's alright, we wanted to have a date but we can't go out so I was wondering if I could take him to this room and kick you out to ours or Liam's if that's okay?"
"You know I'm a Larry shipper Lou, I'm basically captain, you can always have my room." Niall grinned "And I'll take your place, God knows Liam's been insufferable this week and that way you guys can stay the whole night, I'm leaving tomorrow anyways."
"Us too," Louis answered, "and thank you Niall, really."
"Sure mate, what time?"
"I have to go buy some stuff but then I'll come by the set up,"
"K, so I'll just pack my shit for the night and help you set up and then whenever you go pick up your flower queen I'll head into your room?"
"Sounds perfect." Louis agreed smiling, "thanks again Ni, you have no idea how much a change of location means to us, even if it's just down the hall."
Niall smiled and waved as Louis left, a smile on his face, what had Niall said? Flower queen. That was perfect. He pulled on his baseball cap and popped on his sunglasses as he stepped into the daylight and made his way to the outlets on the edge of their area. Shopping for a date without a specific idea felt strange to him, he always planned his dates for days in advance, and he felt a little out of his depth roaming mindlessly through the stores before stopping into the same flower store he had been in earlier and inhaling deeply. Harry would love this store he knew, but the younger lad had been anxious to leave the hotel at all since Zayn left, not in the mood to be spotted at this time.
He roamed the aisles mindlessly, choosing a few bouquets of cheaper flowers that he could pull apart and lay over surfaces, a giant bouquet of carnations-harrys favorite, and some pink roses he intended to use to set up a massage-his boy had been so stressed lately, Louis knew he needed one. Satisfied with his choices, Louis paid and waited while the owner carefully wrapped his purchases and placed them in a paper bag. He looked around and noticed a clothing boutique further down the road.
"Can I pick these up in an hour sir?" He asked the owner who smiled and nodded, indicating that he should write his name on the bag. Louis hesitated, not wanting to be recognized, and eventually settled for drawing a smiley with xs for eyes, smiling happily and shrugging at the thin man who shrugged back and put the bags on a shelf.
He headed over to the boutique and headed to the pyjama section, looking for something soft and warm and almost immediately finding plaid pyjamas of soft silk. Perfect for pampering, perfect for his boyfriend. As he turned to pay for two pairs, one bigger one smaller, he grabbed some soft lace panties in a pale green color that he knew Harry would love, and a new silk eye mask, since he had been complaining that his was getting a little old. Purchases in hand, Louis checked his watch, noticing that he still had some time before he was expected back at the flower shop. Not wanting to confuse the owner any more than he already had, Louis continued browsing through the outlets, picking up anything that caught his eye that he thought Harry might like.
Back at the hotel, Harry sank into a bath, pulling out his razor, knowing how much Louis loved it when his skin was smooth. After massaging himself with exfoliants, shaving himself down and applying moisturisers, he climbed out of the bath, wrapped himself in a towel and started choosing his outfit for the night. He wanted to show Louis his love and gratitude for everything he meant to him by dressing up the best way he could, so he immediately knew it had to be somewhat feminine. He wasn't one hundred percent comfortable in skirts and girly clothes so he settled for a soft cotton shirt made of light blue fuzz-Louis blue-his boyfriend likes to call it. He pairs it with some black denim trousers and laid the whole outfit out on his bed, agonizing over the accessories. His hair was starting to dry so he scrunched it up with some conditioner to bring out his curls more as he stood over his jewelry drawer, automatically selecting the peace ring Louis had given him and a delicate silver band, with a tiny diamond that matched for the other hand, a gift from his mum when he had come out in 2008. He knew if he were to wear a necklace, it had to be chunky or it would get lost in the fuzzy sweater, so he pulled out a string of pearls. Satisfied, he dropped the towel and sat cross legged at the mirror with his makeup bag-all gifts from Louis-and started to prep his skin.
A little while later, he stood back and smiled. It was perfect, feminine but still Harry, with hints of Louis blue in his waterline that would make the love of his life smile his sunshine smile.
Humming to himself, Harry checked his watch. 5:30, he had time before Louis would come around so he started up some classical music, leaving the outfit on his bed and starting to pack up his clothing and personal belongings, carefully folding some of Louis clothing too so that at least his more expensive items wouldn't get creased when he carelessly shoved everything into his suitcase the next morning. At 6:30, he stopped packing and pulled on a pair of blue cotton panties and carefully got dressed, sliding on his jewelry. He was just slipping on his trainers when there was a knock on the door. He smiled lightly as he glanced at the clock. Right on time.
Tugging open the door, he breathed deeply. Louis looked a dream. Skin gleaming, beard shaven to exactly the scruffiness that he loved, eyes drinking Harry in as Harry shamelessly checked him out in his tight black jeans and green Adidas sweater.
"Hi angel," Louis finally said softly, breaking the spell and handing him a single carnation, "you look gorgeous!"
"My favourite," he smiled, "thank you, you cleaned up pretty nicely yourself."
Louis chuckled and offered his arm forward, "shall we?" He asked formally
Harry grinned so hard he thought his face might burst, "let's." He answered looping his arm throigha nd mouthing a 'thank you' to Niall who was trying to remain inconspicuous as he took pictures on his iphone and slipped into their room. Niall grinned at him and shut the door, wheeling a bag after him.
"Shit, Niall bought a bag with him, is he staying the night? Should I have bought pyjamas?" Harry panicked, turning to look at Louis who shit him up with a short kiss. "I told you I would take care of everything baby, don't worry," he smiled, leading Harry up to Niall's room and holding the door open. Harry gasped in delight as he took in the scene. Louis and Niall had moved the matters from the pullout bed into the living room area and layed it over the table. Louis had lit candles all around it that gave off the scent of vanilla and pink rose petals were scattered all around. He could see a beautifully made bed too, but Louis led him over to the balcony where he had ordered up a lovely smelling dinner and glasses of champagne.
He pulled out a chair and guided him to sit down. "I'm going to spoil you tonight angel," he said, pouring them each a glass, "because you deserve everything in the world." He passed Harry a glass and raised his slightly. "to my gorgeous boyfriend Harry, I am so lucky to have you babe, you've turned me propper sappy, wearing flowers and shit. And I'm so grateful for the way you've been holding the band together. I'm going to help you relax tonight. I love you, I love you, I love you." He smiled, tilting his glass towards Harry who clinked it with a smile, "to our love," he murmured, "to our love." Louis agreed
They had a calm and relaxing meal, the bouquet of carnations between them, one eventually making it's way into Louis hair with a kiss to his forehead, talking about everything but the band and how excited they were to have this time off. "it's been too long since we've had a bubble," Louis said and Harry instantly agreed with a smile. The bubble meant a time or place when they could be them without worrying. "it'll be nice to include our families in that bubble you know," Harry mused, "I haven't seen your family at all since we told them."
"They miss you," Louis said fondly, wiping a stray eyelash off his cheek, "especially Daisy, she keeps asking about you."
"Don't chuck it!" Harry gasped and Louis made to shake the eyelash off his finger, catching it instead and holding it out to Louis on his pinkie. He caught the man's blue eyes and almost cried when he noted the deep affection they held as they gazed back with a softness Harry had missed. "make a wish," he whispered
Louis looked down at the eyelash and back at him, "I wish we'll always remember tonight and remember that no matter what, we can always create a bubble where you and me, our relationship, is the most important of anything." He said softly, taking Harry's large hand in both of his own, blowing gently and watching as the eyelash fluttered down and disappeared.
"I promise." Harry whispered
"You promise what baby?" Louis asked
"I promise to prioritize us no matter what, to hold on to tonight to remind me why."
"I promise too babe," Louis smiled, sealing it with a kiss, "now I was hoping to eat dessert in bed after I massage you, you in?" He grinned as Harry jumped up, stripping off his fuzzy blue sweater and laying it carefully over a chair, beckoning Louis inside
"Eager are we?" He grinned
"Been waiting all night," Harry blushed, "my back needs your attention,"
"I figured," Louis said mildly, "you've been stressed,"
He helped the taller boy out of his trousers smiling at the panties before pulling them down too and removing his socks and shoes last as Harry took off his necklace, opting to leave his rings on. Fully naked, he hopped up onto the table, smiling as Louis laid him on his front and brushed his hair aside, humming gently as he massaged oils into him, a clove like smell wafting between them. Every now and then, Louis pressed a kiss to his shoulder or lower back as he worked through the knots and Harry felt himself growing sleepy as he relaxed, letting his mind drift off as Louis took care of him. Eventually Louis gave his back one last loving stroke and placed a kiss to his forehead. "all done my love," he whispered gently and Harry opened his eyes leaning forward for a kiss. Louis admired Harry as he helped him up and into the brand new panties he had bought him which looked just as gorgeous against Harry's pale thighs as he had imagined. He had chosen one sheer shimmer shade across his eyelids and had lined them in a chocolate brown color that made his green eyes simply glow. His skin gleamed and a soft pink on his cheeks and lips practically screamed feminity. He led Harry over to the bed, which he had made up in new silk sheets, an orange, crocheted blanket, Harry's favourite color, and numerous blue and green throw pillows. He had also folded his presents neatly there, helping a sleepy Harry into the soft pyjamas and getting himself into matching ones as he handed him the eye mask.
Harry laid down and made grabby hands at him, curling into him immediately as he lay down.
"It's all perfect tonight Lou," he said softly, "can tell you thought through my favorites and the things I need, I love you."
"I love you," Louis answered, kissing his curls and watching him drift off, taking in the steady rise and fall of his chest as he fell asleep. They would eat the dessert for breakfast, right now, Harry needed his sleep.Question of the chapter
