so far i enjoy it here.

not prepared for school but, i think i'll live as long as michael is there with me.

"autumn , my friends are coming over...want to hang out with us?" my thoughts are interrupted by michael coming into my room.

"i don't want to intrude, plus i'm a little nervous" i express

"you won't be a bother c'mon come meet the boys." he begs

"fine" i say defeated.

"cool, they'll be here any minute so come down stairs."

"what're they're names again?"

"ashton, calum, and luke."

"oh, okay"

he walks out and shuts the door softly as he treads down the stairs.

do i really want to meet them?
no.

will i?
sure.

ugh. they better be cool.

i sit up from my laying position and debate on when i should go down stairs or if i even should.

and soon enough i hear my door open thinking it was going to reveal mikey but revealed the mother.

"hey" she spoke softly

"hi" i speak as i move a piece of hair from my face and pushing it behind my ear.

"look, you don't have to get right into meeting people. these boys are different though and i know for sure that they'll take care of you." she smiles as she pats my leg

"im not really used to people caring is all, or even being sociable. it's not really my thing." i say and she sits there silent then embracing me.

at first im stiff but then i embrace her back.

"well we do care no matter what, i will take care of you like my own. got it? and it's fine that you're not sociable you're enough" she speaks with passion in her voice.

all i can do is smile, and it's real.

"now, let's go meet the boys if you want" she claps her hands excitedly while taking one around my shoulder.

i decide it'll be fine and i stand up.

"im so nervous" i think out loud

"oh honey, don't be these boys wouldn't hurt a fly" she laughs as we reach the bottom of the stairs.

it was like a scene from a movie. where the princess was coming down and then all eyes were on her.

yeah that's exactly what this felt like.

i felt a little uncomfortable and pushed my sleeves down my arms.

"boys, this is our new daughter. autumn, these are the boys" the mother says excitedly.

"also my new sister, and all of our responsibility at school got it?" michael shines.

the boys give a simple nod and smile.

"well, uh i'm ashton. you can call me ash" he smiles taking my hand in his and kissing it.

"i'm calum, the best one out of all four of us" he beams as he takes my hand and squeezes it and walks by michael.

the last boy that i suspect is luke, has yet to move from his spot but his eyes stay on me.

"this is luke, he'll warm up to you and all things will be good" ashton wraps his arms around the tall boy with dirty blonde hair and a beanie to cover it up.
