Chapter 17

After everyone left there was only Pete and Vegas there. The atmosphere was awkward, Pete didn't know how to start a conversation. Vegas was just standing there staring at the darkness of the night. Both wanted to say something but didn't know how to start. Pete finally had enough and call out his name

"Vegas.... "

"Pete ......"

They both called out to each other at the same time.

"Vegas you say it first" Pete said and let Vegas talk

"Pete do I look like a pathetic fool?" Vegas asked

"No Vegas what are you saying?" Pete replied shocked

"I'm a fool Pete, I hurt you, I made you cry and all this for a person who didn't even cherish that relationship. I feel so stupid. I can only say sorry to you and I know that saying sorry for even a million times is not enough." Vegas said and sat down crying

Pete kneel down beside him and cupped Vegas's face to make Vegas face him and said

"Vegas you're not a fool. You were in love and wanted your lover to feel secure and that's why you did all that I know it hurt me but I understand you. You get that and now stop crying or I'll make your video and upload it so that you will be crowned the new cry baby" Pete said making Vegas laugh.

"Okay okay I'll stop crying." Vegas said and get up on his feet.

"Let's go" Pete said and was ready to go when Vegas stopped him. Pete looked back at Vegas who still in his spot

"What happened now Vegas why are you still standing there?"

"Um... Pete uhh about ...the kiss" Vegas said fidgeting with his fingers

"Oh right that. It's okay Vegas I understand you got carried away I didn't mind it. Now let's go before it's too late." Pete said and before Vegas could say anything someone called for Pete

"Khun Pete your father is looking for you"

"Okay tell him I'm coming" Pete said to the person and turned towards Vegas and said

"Vegas I have to go. We will continue later ok" Pete said and left. Vegas also left the event because he was tired and had enough for a night.

Time skip

It's been already a month since all of that happened, Macau's vacation is also coming to an end, he's got only a week after that he will go back to US to start a new semester but before he go back he wants to set his phi and phi Pete up because his stupid brother hasn't been able to get Pete to date him yet.

Macau was so impatient that he asked Saint to help him. So they both planned something which will surely get Vegas to confess.

Vegas was in the living room watching TV when the door bell rings he was about to get up to open the door but Macau came running down the stairs to answer the door. A few seconds later Pete walked in the room looking so adorable and cute, Vegas couldn't take his eyes off him.

"Phi you okay there" Macau teased his brother

"Yes I'm fine." Vegas said and looked at Pete again and asked

"Pete what are you doing here?"

"I have a date"

"Date? With whom" Vegas asked with an annoyed expression

"With me phi" Macau said excitedly. Vegas looked at Macau with a confused expression and then with a questioning look

"Phi I have only a week left after that I have to go back, so I decided to take Phi Pete out on a date because it will be a long time before I return and I want to spend as much time as I can with him" Macau said and then looked at Pete and said

"Phi Pete wait here okay I'll get dressed up real quick " Macau said and ran upstairs to get dressed

He finished dressing up in a few minutes and soon came downstairs to see Pete and Vegas watching TV together.

"Phi Pete come on let's go we are going to be late" Macau said

"Okay I'm coming. Bye Vegas I have to go" Pete said and waved bye.

Macau and Pete was already outside the door and Macau was locking the door behind him. When he came back inside

"Phi don't wait for me, I will be late I'm taking phi Pete on a dream date that someone isn't brave enough to take him. It will be his first I guess" Macau said and quickly went outside and locked the door behind him

"This kid he is gonna get his ass whooped once he comes back" Vegas thought and continued watching TV.

But he didn't find anything interesting. Everything seemed dull and somehow his thoughts went to Macau and Pete's date. He is happy that they went on a date and want them to enjoy. He knew Macau wanted him to ask Pete out but he is afraid that he's gonna hurt him again and that's stopping him.

He didn't know when he fell for Pete maybe he was always in love with him it's just that he didn't know. He always thought that he felt protective over Pete because of his promise but he realised that that's not true. That what he was feeling was love, it's true when it comes to feelings he is a fool because if he realised this earlier he and Pete would have been together way before and everything that happened wouldn't have happened.

Suddenly Vegas phone was ringing and Vegas pick it up to see Macau video calling him.

"What happened Macau why are you calling me did something happen? Is Pete okay?" Vegas asked

"First of all no nothing happened and second I'm hurt a little I called you and all you could think of is phi Pete." Macau said with a little pout

"Okay okay I'm sorry stop being a drama queen and tell why did you call me" Vegas asked

"Okay I will stop, but phi I wanted to enjoy my date with phi Pete but we meet someone here and he has been hitting on phi Pete for 10 minutes I'm really annoyed. Do you know him he is from your uni?" Macau said and turned the phone so that Vegas could see that person.

And when Vegas saw him he immediately stood up because that person was Mark.

"Macau where are you I'm coming there" Vegas said

"Okay phi I'm sending you the location" Macau said and cut the call with a sneaky smile.
