"What the fuck did you do!?" Jordan exclaimed at Tyson, in utter shock. "I showed them the truth." Tyson coldly responded. The massive doors to The Cavern were still open, and the group hadn't fully entered yet, so everyone quickly took cover behind the walls. "Who here has weapons?!" Kiefer asked, in a panic. Jordan pulled out a revolver she keeps on her person at all times. She angled it to the right and easily pushed the rolling magazine out to the side, exposing the chamber. "Only 1 shot left." She told him, after counting her bullets. It would be difficult for Kiefer and Jordan to brainstorm plans, as they were ok either side of the door. Devon was beside her, though. "Do you think we could try to talk him and everyone out of this?" Devon asked, grasping at any straw. "No, there's a back entrance that he doesn't know about." Jordan told him. She waved the people on the other side of the doorway to make their way around the walls to the other side so they would meet at the back.
"Alright, let's show these motherfuckers who owns The Cavern now." Tyson said with a grin as he and his newly recruited soldiers started to make their way through the doors, expecting to see Jordan's group... But they were gone. "Over here, smart stuff." Jordan epicly said as her and her group started raining fire upon Tyson's entire group. Tyson quickly rushed to cover behind the wall of a building. A couple of his recruits got hit before they could get to cover like he did.
"Are you sure you wanna just shoot your civilians?" Devon asked when there was a break in her gunfire after they'd all ran to cover. "They were gonna kill us, and they're following him, they believed him." She responded. Kiefer and Jordan's group both hit the armory before opening fire on Tyson's group.
Jasmine was apart of Tyson's group too, she quickly got to cover beside him. "In case one of us doesn't make it out, I love you." Jasmine told Tyson. He looked at her in utter disbelief, softly putting his thumb on her chin, forcing her stare up to his. "Don't say that.. We're gonna be alright." He said creepily, staring deep into her eyes. She ignored the weird altercation and got herself into the mindset to battle.
Kiefer and Devon got a slight glimpse of one of the citizens and started firing bullets down onto them from the balcony/porch platform they were posted at. "You don't have to do this! We built this community together!" Jordan shouted to the citizens who were now loyal to Tyson. "You betrayed us, and lied!" One of them yelled back. "I did so Tyson wouldn't lash out, he's dangerous! You don't know what you're doing listening to him!" She shouted back. "Trust me! We do know what we're doing! We're the truth!" The other citizens chanted in agreement. "Keep shooting!" Tyson interrupted them. "That was their last chance, we're taking them out. If you can try your best to convince them of what is right, do it. But this is blind leading the blind, don't hesitate if they won't back down from the lunatic's wrath." Jordan epicly told Kiefer and Devon and the rest of the group.
Devon and Kiefer both rushed around the building and flanked Tyson's group, they managed to fire some rounds but didn't hit anyone. Tyson noticed and fired back barely missing Kiefer's head. Jordan laid down some fire from back up at the balcony and hit a civilian. "Fuck!" He screamed out.
"You, and you go around and flank those two." Tyson ordered a man and a woman pointing in the direction Kiefer and Devon were now at. "You gonna cover us?" The guy asked. "Yes, you're my people now, I will." Tyson assured the two. The man gave a slight nod of faith, he and the girl booked it for the nearest cover when Kiefer and Devon shot both of them before they could make it. Tyson wasn't even focused on them anymore, he switched his entire attention back up at where Jordan and the rest of the group were the second he gave those two the false hope.
The woman was dead on the floor, a bullet hole on her head, blood surrounding it on the ground. "Your traitor." The man tried blurting out with his last breath as he died right there. "We need to kill Jordan if not the others, i want that liar dead!" Tyson ordered his people as they charged up towards the building they were at. Jason and Brendan shot at them as they rushed at them, managing to hit one in the knee, sending them tumbling down the quarry hitting and breaking their bones until they hit the bottom, no doubt they were dead with misplaced bones sticking the wrong way looking like some disfigured oversized humanoid spider.
Tyson stayed back as they attacked. He wanted to deal with Kiefer and Devon on his own.
"Fuck! They're in cover I can't hit 'em." Jason exclaimed, reloading his final mag. "And I'm almost out!" He added. "With me." Jordan looked at Kennedy and Jack. Without any question the two love birds followed her. She lead them around the side of the balcony to the other side of the building, she jumped down onto the ground in a small alley way between two houses. Kennedy and Jack jumped down after her. "What are we doing?" Kennedy asked, confused. "Shhh." Jordan shushed them. "Stay here, I'm gonna go to the right and take some out silently, if you see any come from the left behind me, shoot them. Okay?" She told the two, trying to keep quiet. "Got it." They confirmed to her, readying their guns, aiming down the alley way. "Good." Jordan said, as she quickly and quietly ran down the alley way and went into the open keeping herself almost glued to the walls as she slowly and stealthily moved. She went around a corner and saw two of Tyson's people standing in the pathway aiming their guns in the other direction of the way Jordan was coming. She counted down '3.. 2.. 1..' in her head as she pulled out one of her knives and threw it at the one person's head, as they fell down on impact hitting the floor. The other one was already wrapped around her arms in a right chokehold before they could even react, snapping their neck and taking their guns. That's when Jordan heard rapid gunfire from behind her. She swiftly turned back to see a body laying on the ground as Kennedy and Jack emerged from the alley way. "Good job." Jordan gave Kennedy and Jack her admiration, as they all rushed to the next cover.
Kiefer and Devon noticed everyone dispersing as Tyson started coming their way. Devon took a shot but he quickly dived behind some cover. He snuck around a building and within moments Kiefer and Devon were face to face with him. "Let's handle this like men, put the gun down?" Tyspn politely asked the two with his proposition. "Put yours down first." Devon told him. "Okay." He put his gun down. Kiefer and Devon followed by putting theirs down. Tyson kicked his gun away, showing he can be trusted. Kiefer and Devon did the same, kicking their guns to the side, away from their grasps. "So, what are you trying to do?" Kiefer asked him. "You ready?" Tyson asked. "What?" Kiefer asked. Devon looked confused too. "I said, are you ready?" Tyson asked a second time. Before Kiefer could answer he tackled him to the ground and started beating on him. Devon tried to pull him off Kiefer, but Tyson elbowed him right in the mouth sending him back to the ground. Tyson continued beating on Kiefer, he was completely and utterly defensless. "The karma was coming for you, it's finally here." Tyson said, as he went to his pocket and revealed a giant blade, he was still over Kiefer. "Noo!" Kiefer screamed, pleading for his life as Tyson raised the knife above. "You finally get what you deserve!" Tyson yelled as he brought the blade down. Kiefer closed his eyes in brace for the impact, when Tyson became limp and the knife clanged on the ground beside Kiefer's head. Tyson fell to the side holding onto his chest, grasping for air on the ground. Jordan stood before him, with her revolver pointed where Tyson once was above Kiefer. She put the revolver back to her mouth to blow away the smoke, badass style. "Guess I made that 1 shot count, huh?" She said, as Kiefer stared in total shock.
"So, is this what we call home now?" Devon asked Kiefer, as they hauled Tyson's body into a barrel they used for beer before. "I think so, it feels really safe here. Especially now that any threats are gone that we knew about." Kiefer told him as they closed to lid to the barrel making sure it was tight shut so they could throw it to the wasteland to rot where Tyson's memory truly deserves to be. "Well, I guess we can call this our family now." Devon stated. "I guess so." Kiefer replied, with a little bit of a genuine smile on his face. "To our new family." Kiefer started. "To our new family." Devon cheered Kiefer as they both threw Tyson's makeshift coffin into the random outdoors of the wasteland. The end.
