Kiefer, Kennedy, and Jack went outside of the Blackyard walls to investigate the odd goo that was painted onto the walls of the town. Kennedy and Jack were holding hands. The swung them back and forth with every other step. "I love you." Kennedy smiled looking to the left at Jack. "I love you more, sunshine." Jack said, happily. Kiefer was disgusted by this. 'At least they're happy, I guess' he thought. They eventually made it to the opposite side of the wall from where they saw the goo from inside. There were dead trees and dead bushes for miles away from Blackyard. The forest was pretty much against the walls it was so big. You could only really find Blackyard from the entrance, unless you were lost in the forest and came across a giant 20 foot metal wall. "Looking at it from this side, I still have no clue what this is." Jack said, confidently knowing that doesn't help them. "You said that so confidently knowing that doesn't help us!" Kiefer barked at him. "Geez, sorry." Jack turned back to investigate more. "It's okay, baby cakes." Kennedy comforted Jack. "He doesn't know how sensitive I weally am." He pouted, full eye contact with Kennedy. Kiefer diverged his attention to the forest. Maybe the answer isn't directly on the walls where the source of this goo is, but maybe the answer deeper into the forest. Kiefer went deeper in and noticed there were cracked branches as if someone was tumbling through this area. There weren't any prints to show that someone was rushing through. Although there were random parts of the ground that had been smothered by whatever this less convincing human uses to walk. The marks were so distorted and messed up that Kiefer couldn't exactly make out what the feet would look like, but they were big. They looked to be about 3 times the size of Kiefer's own foot. He decided now that going deeper from this point on could result in danger, so he figured he my aswell go back to Kennedy and Jack to let them know what he found. Kiefer rushed back through the forest of barren trees until he got back to them, and they were on the fucking ground making out... "What the fuck!" Kiefer exclaimed

Devon and Luce's eyes followed the other group until they were beyond the walls. "So, you got any idea on what this is?" Devon asked her. She didn't look to be really helping, she was just awkwardly standing around like she was waiting to say something she thought was important. He looked over and immediately noticed her shyness. "What's wrong?" Asked Devon, worryingly. "Nothing." Luce laughed it off. Devon went back to the wall. He thought intensively for the majority of a minute until he came up with a theory. "What if this is a mutated animal that perched up on the top of the wall and this is its saliva." Devon proposed the idea. "Yea.. I mean- yea." She stuttered. The goo was thicker and more nasty looking than anything that any regular wolf or bear could make. So clearly the saliva mutated with the animal making it way more scary than it already was. "I think we need to tell the others." Devon said. Luce quickly grabbed his arm as he was going for the gates. "What? Are you sure there's not something wrong?" He asked again, slightly more concerned this time. Luce let go of the grip on his arm. She took a second to say anything. "I just.. I- I don't know if I really like Kiefer anymore.." She finally said. "What do you mean? You guys seemed great this morning. Me and Jack have agreed on runs that you guys are such a good couple. "I wish that was true, but if I'm being honest I threw myself in because I'm desperate for anything or anyone and he's the first one who showed attention. I didn't even think about if I liked him or not, hell we barely even know eachother." Luce explained. Devon was speechless. "Well, you better tell him yourself, than." Devon told her. "I'm scared." She replied. "How?" Devon quickly responded. "I'm scared he's not gonna take it well. But I wanted to make myself love him I did, and I really tried but I can't keep lying to myself that I do." Luce told him. "If you want I can talk to him." Devon suggested. "No." Luce shut him down immediately. "Then what do you want?" He asked her. "You." Luce replied. Devon didn't know how to respond. "I think imma be right back." He smiled as he went to quickly find Kiefer. She immediately knew at this point she made a massive mistake. He saw Jack, Kennedy, and Kiefer all enter back through the gates. "Did you guys find anything?" Kennedy asked Devon. "We need to talk real quick." Devon approached Kiefer. "What's up?" He asked Devon. "Follow me." Devon ordered him. Luce thought she could trust Devon. Kennedy and Jack went and gathered with Luce while Devon and Kiefer went into one of the back alleys to talk. Luce was calm on the outside but knew that Devon was telling on her like it's a grade 3 playground except it's ruining relationships. She was very nervous for how this was going to turn out... Either way Kiefer was finding out, when she trusted Devon with this information.
