There Milani was, in the car with her mother heading back to Harlem, NY.

Milani had been moving up and down basically her whole life, and each place they went to she hated. Florida, Vancouver Canada, she even lived in Cuba for 3 years.

She would've hated moving again, since as she never gets to settle down, but when she does she has to move away again.

Milani is from Harlem, and all her childhood friends are there, so she is excited to be moving back, apparently for good.

Milani couldn't be away from her friends that long, so she would visit NY every summer. They would keep each other updated through text, and FaceTime calls.

Backstory

When Milani was 7 her mother met a man. She instantly fell in love with him. Well she thought it was love, it was really abuse and manipulation.

Before this, Myracle had just got out of a relationship with Milani's dad. She had cheated on him, and when he got mad, she walked away. She told herself she didn't love him anymore and chose the "mistress" over him.

Milani's mom knew what was happening but the told herself that lovers stick by each others side. She stayed with him in every step of his career, and ever time he moved for a new job offer, she moved too, dragging Milani along with them.

Until she found out he cheated, and instead of getting mad she forgave him. But he took the opportunity of her finding out as a way of relief, and kicked her out of the house along with Milani, leaving them homeless for a few weeks, until Myracle decided to move back to NY so she could have her families support.

But what Myracle didn't know was that she was 3 months pregnant with his baby.

Milani zoned back in as she realized she arrived at shhs. She had been in contact with her friend so she knew was school they went to.

Milani was very excited to surprise her friends, she didn't tell anyone she was moving back to NY, As she entered the doors of the building she heard a familiar voice....
