Chapter 14: Unexpected

Y/N POV:

After my panic attacks, we stayed for another hour. Rose asked me to play tag again and I happily agreed. I'm still nervous to be around Scarlett after that. I'm afraid she just told me to stay in the heat of the moment. The more she thinks, she'll leave. 

As we make our way back to Scarletts, my mind is racing. I don't want to talk to her with Rose so close, so I decide to text Cait. She has always been there.

Y/N: Hey.... so, I just had a panic attack in front of Scarlett at the park. My mind is racing, and I feel like she's going to leave me. 

Cait: Did she tell you to leave?

Y/N: No, she told me that we are in this together. That she knows I won't hurt her or her daughter. But what if she just said that and the more, she thinks on it, she decides to leave?

Cait: Did you talk to her about these feelings?

Y/N: No, Rose is in the car, and I don't want her to hear. 

Cait: Y/N, you are strong and obviously this woman likes you. You need to communicate. If she does leave, then she's not the right person for you. You've come a long way and you know these thoughts are just your anxiety. 

Y/N: Thanks, you're right. Love you. 

Cait: Love you too weirdo!

I hadn't realized I was on the phone for so long as we pulled into Scarlett's driveway. Rose gets herself out of her seat and runs inside. Scarlett hasn't moved and I can feel her eyes on me. 

Scarlett: Sweetheart, what's going on in that head of yours?

Y/N: I'm just scared. 

Scarlett: Why?

Y/N: I'm afraid once you have time to think about me and what happened, you're going to leave, like the rest do. 

Scarlett: I'm not going to leave. I know what it's like to have anxiety and that it can be overwhelming. I'm not going to leave you just because of PTSD and anxiety. I don't know what you have been through, but I want to be there to pull you out. 

Y/N: I really like you, Scarlett. Like a lot. And that scares me because I've never cared for someone the way I care about you and hope to care about you and Rose in the future. 

Scarlett: I really like you too Y/N. I'm not going anywhere. I want to see where this goes. And I love watching you with Rose. It is by far one of my favorite sights. 

Y/N: Thank you. 

I'm looking into Scarletts eyes, and I can't help but lean in. I feel her move in her seat and before I can make my move, she grabs me and pulls me into her. I can feel her want in this kiss. She brushes her lip against mine and I refuse to give in. I take her closer to me, if that's possible, and I take her bottom lip between my teeth. A moan escapes her mouth and I use the advantage and slip my tongue into hers. I let myself explore her mouth and I fall into pleasure. 

Scarlett moves while I'm kissing her and then she grabs me and moves me on top of her. Since she moved her seat back, I am able to lean down on her and continue without make out. I can feel her move under me and that only encourages me more. I remove my lips from hers and start to kiss her neck. I know her weak spot, but I'm avoiding it on purpose. I can feel Scarlett get antsy under neath me. She places both her hands on my body and start moving them down to my ass. I love the way her hands feel on me. I finally move my lips to her sweet spot right behind her ear and I know it because her hands gripped tighter on me. 

Scarlett: Y/N, please

Y/N: Please what Scarlett (I whisper in her ear)

Scarlett: I...really....want...but... we need to....stop

Y/N: Why Babygirl?

Scarlett moans at the pet names as I continue to kiss her neck. 

Scarlett: Because Rose is inside, and we are in my car. I'd rather do this when my daughter won't come running back out her and see us. 

Y/N: Okay, good point. 

I move myself off Scarlett but not before kissing her one last time. As we head inside, Scarlett is all red in the face and I know she is just as hot and bothered as I am. 

Rose: Y/N will you color with me?

Y/N: Sire munchkin, let's go sit at the table. Why don't you grab your things and I'll meet you there. 

Rose runs off to grab her coloring book. 

Scarlett: I've asked Lizzie is she can watch Rose tomorrow night. I want to take you out on a date and enjoy a nice evening together. 

Y/N: You didn't have to do that; we could have waited till she was with her dad again or a lunch date while she's at school. I know how much you love having her around, I do too. 

Scarlett: I know that, but we need a night to ourselves and that's going to be tomorrow night. 

Scarlett pulls me into a sweet kiss right before Rose comes running into the room. 

Rose: Ewwww, mommy, what are you doing? 

Oh crap. Is all I thought about. 

Scarlett stares at me, wondering what to say. 

Scarlett: Rose, come sit down, mommy needs to talk to you.
