My Professor and Me - Scarlett Johansson

New Responsibilities

Scarlett POV: 

The sun shining through the curtains woke me up way to early. Knowing that it's Thursday, I know that I don't teach class today, but Y/N has to get up for class and work. I look over and see her snuggled up to me still blissfully sleeping. I could stare at her all day. Her gorgeous face and how peaceful she looks right now. I'm really falling for her. 

Last night was amazing. I tried not to show how nervous I was meeting Jay. I knew she would be on edge, so I tried my best. They really are the mother-son duo everyone hopes for. I can tell how much she loves him. I just wish it didn't happen in such an awful way. I will protect her at all costs. 

Y/N stirs in her sleep and slowly wakes up. I am still admiring her and wishing we could stay like this forever. 

Y/N: What time is it babe? 

Scarlett: It's 7:30 love. You need to get up soon for class and then work. 

Y/N: Ugh I hate adulting sometimes. 

Scarlett: What do you do with Jay when school finishes? 

Y/N: Cait usually watches him while I'm at work so it's all good. 

Scarlett: Okay, well let's get up, feed the kiddos, and get out the door. 

Y/N: Not without a kiss first, please. 

I lean over and give my girl a kiss. I swear kissing her is the best part of my day. I don't know what I would do if I never got to kiss her again. 

Y/N and I head to the kid's rooms and wake them up. We all make our way downstairs and dressed for the day. I only have to take Rose to school so I can dress in sweats. That's a win for me!

Y/N: Good morning bubba, hi munchkin, how are you both?

Jay: Good mommy. I'm ready to see my friends at school. 

Y/N: I bet; you've been gone a whole week. Do you have all your homework done from the time you were gone?

Jay: Yes, I finished it at dads. 

Y/N: Good boy. Let's get going. Scarlett and Rose need to get going as well. Mommy doesn't want us to be late. 

Scarlett: I can drive the kids to school if you want. They both go to the same school so it's not a problem. That way you can get coffee on the way to school. 

Y/N: Are you sure? 

Scarlett: Of course, makes it easier since we would both just be going to the same place. 

Y/N: Jay, is it okay if Scarlett drives you to school. 

Jay: Sure mommy, I really like her!

Y/N: Okay then it's settles. Mommy is going to leave, give me a kiss!

Jay runs to Y/N and gives her a big hug and kiss. I love seeing her as a mother, it's a different kind of attraction I have for her now. A good kind. 

Y/N: By munchkin, I'll see you later okay, be good for your mom. 

Rose: I will, bye Y/N. 

Y/N goes over and gives Rose a kiss on her forehead. 

Scarlett: What about me?

Y/N: I could never forget about you; I saved the best for last. 

And with that, Y/N gives me a kiss at the door and waves as she leaves for the day. I swear it felt like a normal family morning to me. And I'm not going to lie when I say I hope this becomes normal for us.
