Remember when Luke was the Oracle for a tenth of a game?

I decided to keep a dream log. For whatever reason, some of my dreams seem to come true. I'm not yet sure if it's just my brain tricking me somehow or if I can actually see the future, but I figured recording all my dreams would be a good idea. Those are in a separate notebook; any ones that end up being visions I'll put here.

Okay, this one isn't prophetic or anything, but I still think it's weird as hell. The whole thing was pitch black, I distinctly remember it being freezing cold, and these two voices were having a conversation. It was short, but I remember it so clearly.

"I hear this little fledgeling can see the future."

"So that's why he's like this? He must have seen some horrible vision, ey?"

"That would be my guess. But where did he acquire such power?"

"I think the more important thing to ask is... well, what did he see?"

I assume they mean me, but what did they mean "that's why he's like this"? And what about a "horrible vision"? What vision? I haven't had any visions yet that could be classified as 'horrible'. "What did he see?" Yeah, I wonder that too, like, what the huh?

Actually, the more I think about it, maybe that was prophetic...

November 1

I dreamt the other week that Flora was babysitting Katrielle, and they made a tower out of legos. They tried to make a clock tower, but it was too small to make a clock, so they just put Flora's pocket watch in an opening near the top. Turns out, that was real.

Pretty much the second I got home, Katri greeted me and kept saying she had something to show me. I followed her to Flora's room, where she was waiting for her and her sister to show me what they worked on. It was really well done too, despite being so small. The two of them were really proud of what they've made; Katri was bouncing on her heels and flapping her hands (I think she got that from Randall?), and Flora had a glowing smile on her face the entire time.

January 5

I forgot to mention before, but these dreams all started after Desmond gave me this amulet. I admit, I practically begged them to enchant something for me; I really, really wanted magic, and I knew the professor didn't know how to give me some, so I asked maybe sorta pressured Desmond instead... I do regret being so stubborn about it, but it's been long enough that he doesn't mind anymore.

Anyway, this hasn't happened yet, but I really hope it does: I was a lawyer defending this client (I don't remember their name), and me and my assistant (I also can't recall her name) finally managed to get this witness (Luke Remember Anyone's Names challenge - impossible) to confess to being the true culprit. The whole thing was so intense, the thrill of it nearly drowned out my anxiety. I wish I could remember more details, and God do I want that to turn out to be real.

January 6

I talked about it with Desmond; they explained it all to me. There are a few things magic can do on its own, and when magic is weak or new to a user, it tends to hone in on one in particular. Typically, it is telepathy, but it can, on occasion, be stuff like future sight. That was the case for me.

Desmond isn't entirely sure why this is the case or if there's any connection between what thing it focuses on and the user, mostly because there just isn't a lot known about magic, so that's everything we know. Hopefully, when I better learn how to control my powers, I'll be able to strengthen them. Maybe one day, I'll be able to just look into whatever future I want. I could be some kind of seer or oracle. I don't know, I think it'd be cool.
