Alice doesn't know what they did to her. She was taken to the medical center and stuck with a syringe and the next thing she knew she was waking up and the job was done her child was gone. Alice was then taken to her old room
"You will be locked in here until it's time to kill you boyfriend then you'll be taken to the place of his death the king has granted you a good bye due to the persuasion of the queen so consider yourself lucky." The guard said before locking the door and leaving her there.
Alice sat processing everything and then suddenly every emotion from that day hit her all at once. She cried of course she did who wouldn't she was found taken home and now because she couldn't just do as she was told and marry the prince an innocent man will be killed the love of her life will be killed. And her child the child that wasn't even born yet the child that now will never be born.
Alice doesn't know how long she stayed there crying in her room but after what felt like days a guard came in.
"It's time." He said showing no emotions
Alice stood up without protest. She was led out to the city square and taken to James
"James. James! I'm so sorry this was never supposed to happen I never wanted it to end like this we were supposed to grow old together start a family together." She sobs
"It's ok Alice I knew the risks I always did." James said trying to comfort her
James hugged her and then as soon as she was with James she was being pulled away again
"No! No Please!" She screamed and kicked and pushed but I was no use.
She closed her eyes she couldn't watch but she heard. She heard the slash of the knife the gasp of the crowd and then she felt someone hug her.
"He's dead. Im so sorry honey." It was her mum
"I-I never wanted this to happen he wasn't supposed to find us how did he find us?" She sobbed clinging to her mum
"I don't know." She whispered "common let's get you home." Her mum half carried her daughter home without letting go of the hug
"He killed him he killed him!" She cry's as they entered the castle
Her mum doesn't say anything she just listens to her daughter wishing there was something she could do
"And he killed my child!" They were at her room now
"Your what?" Her mum said
"He didn't tell you did he?" Alice says looking up at her "I was pregnant. I pleaded with dad to spare James's life because he couldn't kill the father of my child but instead he killed them both."
"I'm going to talk to him will you be ok here now honey?" The queen asked
Alice just nodded and she watches her mum leave. She then turns to the balcony.
