"Hey, open your eyes honey, c'mon open them for me. Can you hear me?" A female voice echoed into my head. 'Where am I?' I thought. I opened my eyes only to shut them again. It was so bright and everything was sore. I could hardly talk.

"I'm alive," I croaked. She nodded pulling out a flashlight from her pocket.

"Just need to check vitals honey," she explained, prying my eyes open and shining the light into them. Once she finished she helped assist me out of the tube, chamber thing. It took a moment to realize that I was floating. No gravity in space idiot.

I floated over to where my locker  was, I remembered that much. It was so weird, all I remember was getting on the ship and then closing my eyes. It felt like only seconds later I opened them again, just more disoriented.

"Ugh what a terrible nap," I heard a voice whisper next to me.

I looked over to try and see who it was. It was a tall (well as tall as you can get with no gravity) man, he was extremely slender, dark skinned and had long dreads that fell down his back. Every now and then there'd be a white or gold bead in his hair. He was very handsome.

He caught me staring and looked me full on in the face giving me a better look at him. He had yellow eyes with hues of green in them and a Greek nose. His eyes caught me off gaurd, I've never seen yellow eyes.

"Oh my apologies, I didn't mean to stare, I was just confused about what you said there a couple seconds ago," I explained smiling awkwardly at him.

He looked at me for a moment before smiling back.

"Ahh no, my apologies for being so weird, I was speaking to myself," he reached his hand out and I shook it.

"My name is Christo, what's yours?" He asked while I tried to not float away.

"Oh uh my name's Sequoia," I answered grabbing onto my locker for assistance.

"Well it's been nice to meet you Sequoia, I'll see you around!" He said abruptly and turned floating over to another woman.

"Making friends I see trooper," a male voice spoke in my ear. I swatted at him.

"Shut up Jake," I grunted turning to him with some difficulty. He chuckled at me as I struggled with keeping balance.

"We're nearly there it seems," he let out a small laugh, smiling towards the large windows of the ship. I didn't look, it'd make me nauseous if I did.

"Let's go, let's go, let's go!" The man in the camo outfit screamed at me once again. I was struggling to rip my bag off the hook and follow the line.

Finally I got it and ran to get back in line.

I felt more paranoid then when I got on the hovercraft. Everything was so different from the bright, loud 'space ship' we'd gotten off of.

I fiddled with the mask on my face making sure it wouldn't come off anytime soon. They were called exo packs, and they let us breath. The atmosphere on this moon was more nitrogen than anything else, without these things we'd die.
