Fidel slowly turns around, blushing. Klay noticed him blushing and smiled at him just to joke around.
Klay walks towards her bed and lays down
Fidel sits next to her on the chair beside her bed
Klay whispered to herself "That was horrifying, next time I should be way more careful when going out."
Fidel heard this and told her "I can.." he stopped talking looking like he was hesitating to say what he was going to tell her.
Klay: "Can... what?"
Fidel: "Protect you. I promise to protect you no matter what."
Klay: "I-i dont need protection, I can protect myself" Klay said to him looking confident.
Fidel: "Not after what happened to you. You almost died"
Klay: "Why do you even care about me?"
Fidel: "..."
Klay: "anyways... goodnight im sleepy"
Fidel: "Good night"
Ibarra POV
Ibarra: "Nandito ba ang Frile?"
???: "Opo nasa taas po"
Ibarra: "Gracias"
I go up the stairs looking confident, ready to face Padre Salvi. I open the door and I see him sitting on his chair reading a book.
PS: "Crisostomo Ibarra... Ano ang kailangan mo? Bakit ka nandito?"
Ibarra: "Bakit mo sinaksak ang babae sa tabi ng bahay ko? at bakit ka tumitingin sa aking Nobya, si Maria Clara?"
PS: "Paumanhin Crisostomo, pero hindi ako yung nagsaksak ng babae at hindi ako tumatangkay kay Maria Clara."
Ibarra: "Sabi daw ng babae na muntik mo ipatay na ikaw raw ay sumisilip sa aking bahay para makita si Maria Clara"
PS looked at me in anger and said "HINDI AKO ANG SUMILIP SA BINTANA PARA TINGNAN SI MARIA CLARA!"
Ibarra: "Kung gay'on ang totoo, pasensya na Padre Salvi at sinayang ko ang oras ninyo."
I left knowing that he was lying, obviously, "HINDI AKO ANG SUMILIP SA BINTANA" I never mentioned anything about a window.
I go back to my house and wear my clothes. I then decided to check on Klay and Fidel. I open the door and I see Klay holding Fidel's hand whilst the both of them were sleeping.
I smile and close the door as quiet as possible and go back to my room sleeping.
PS (Padre Salvi) POV
I hear someone open the door and I see him.. Crisostomo Ibarra. I stand up from my chair and call his name and I asked what he needed and why he was here.
Ibarra: "Bakit mo sinaksak ang babae sa tabi ng bahay ko? at bakit ka tumitingin sa aking Nobya, si Maria Clara?"
I look at him trying not to show my expression, I was shocked, how did he know?
PS: "Paumanhin Crisostomo, pero hindi ako yung nagsaksak ng babae at hindi ako tumatangkay kay Maria Clara."
Ibarra: "Sabi daw ng babae na muntik mo ipatay na ikaw raw ay sumisilip sa aking bahay para makita si Maria Clara"
I looked at him in anger, How did he know? I thought to myself "I have to kill that girl before this news spreads"
"HINDI AKO ANG SUMILIP SA BINTANA PARA TINGNAN SI MARIA CLARA!"
Ibarra: "Kung gay'on ang totoo, pasensya na Padre Salvi at sinayang ko ang oras ninyo."
He leaves the room and I closed the book I was reading. I screamed in anger, though I'm sure no one heard it. I then started to calm down and start jotting down on a piece of paper on how I should eliminate that girl.
