Yeji averted her gaze to Ryujin who seemed to be emanating a tank of fury and she could swear that the glance she was giving her wife was loaded with resentment and anger.

But what could have happened for that whole situation to be arising at that moment.

"Lia... What..." Ryujin tried.

"I needed some air.... I wanted to talk to someone..." She stepped forward. "Do you think you can take me home? I'm done here."

Yeji took a step back at the conversation but in a moment, she felt this cold hand positioned on her back.

"I can't take you... But I'll call for a cab to take you back to the hospital, Lia and I'll call Taeyong."

Yeji's eyes widened in shock as she searched the emotionless face of Lia who stood there immovably, just detailing Ryujin with a strange look.

"I... I think I should go home..." Yeji stepped forward wanting to get out of that oppressive tension, but her arm was grabbed by Ryujin.

"Yeji..."

"Let me take her home, Ryujin.... She's tired" Su-ji appeared behind them. "You should talk to Lia.... She doesn't look good at all."

Yeji raised her eyes towards Ryujin and she took the opportunity of the contact to get as close as she could and kiss her goodbye with a kiss on the cheek, something that caught her off guard. But before she could get away from her touch.... Yeji heard her whisper in her ear.

"I hope you keep your word and trust me.... And if this is real, I'll wait for you tomorrow. Taeyong will come for you in the morning and if you get in the car and let him take you somewhere, I'll know that you really trust me."

Ryujin got out of her way, turned around and left, while Lia hurried to keep up with her.

"Those two are crazy..." Su-ji said, approaching her, but Yeji didn't take her eyes off Ryujin, strangely noticing how she was arguing with Lia inside the car.

She let herself be guided by Su-ji to his car, while Ryujin also waited for them to start so she could go take Lia. And if she had stayed without going with Yeji this time, it was only to protect her.

She just wanted to talk to her no matter what, but not under these conditions.

"What do you think you're doing, Ryujin? This is going to be a tale of what? What's on your mind?"

She sped up as Lia's voice reached his ears.

"I don't know what you talked to her.... But you are very wrong..."

"We are married!!! You like her? You think she'll accept you when behind all this she'll be destroying a home?!?!!"

Ryujin laughed cynically.

"You can think what you want... The only thing I know, is that she has my children, mine.... And don't talk about marriage, there's nothing like that here anymore..."

"And what will you tell her? Are you dreaming Ryujin? Do you think that when Yeji finds out that these children are hers, she'll fall in love with you? She's furious, and she'll know we both cheated on her!"

Ryujin ignored but she continued.

"Haven't you seen how she looks at your brother? You weren't there when I arrived... They were having a date, why can't you see it?"

Ryujin's throat tightened as her knuckles turned white from the force she exerted on the steering wheel.

She didn't look at her, didn't talk to her, didn't give her an answer to all her questions that she knew, were swims of a drowning woman. And by the time she parked in front of the clinic, she hurried to get her out of the car and back to the room for her treatment.
