"What do you mean you don't know why the amulet acted this way??? Didn't you say these amulets were used for protection?" Chan demanded as the elder shook their head.
"This amulet must of gotten lost in the box. The amulet isn't one of protection. " The elder tells Chan who's chest is puffing up and down out of anger.
Athea puts her hand on his chest and pushes him out of the hut gently.
"Breathe chan. Just let the elder do what they need to do, this must of been some kind of mistake..." Athea said in a calm voice as Chan slowly starts to calm down.
Chan whines and throws himself into Atheas arms holding her tightly.
"I'm just glad that it wasn't you, I don't know what state I'd be in right now if it was you who got this" he tells her as Athea pets his head.
"I knew it." Chan's mom says smiling at the two, she had just arrived from getting herbs with Ren to help with Chaelyns state.
The couple pulls away quickly.
"Knew what mother?" Chan asks as the woman just smiles.
"The moon never lies, You did find your mate. And she's human, What a great choice." She hums as Athea looks puzzled.
"Your- your okay with him being with me?" Athea asks as the woman grabs her hands and smiles.
"The moon chooses mates for a reason, Human or not you two were meant to me together" she says with a soft smile bringing Athea into a hug.
Ren watches from afar with a smile on her face.
'how sweet.' she thinks to herself grabbing the older females basket of herbs and brings it into the hut.
"Will she be okay elder?" Ren asks after she bows to the elder who's applying water to her head.
"She will be alright, it's not life threatening......." The elder says in a soft tone.
"However. This amulet isn't a protection amulet..." She explains as Ren sits down crushing the herbs.
"How so? Then what kind of amulet is it?" Ren asks as the elder holds out her wrinkled hand gently taking Rens into her hand.
"Your familiar with internal readings? For healing?" The elder asks as Ren shrugs.
"I'm more focused on communications and fighting magics but internal readings are slowly being progressed." She elaborated as the elder places her hand on Chaelyns stomach gently.
"Close your eyes, I'll help you see the internal " The elder whispers and Ren nodded.
Once Ren closes her eyes she slowly felt a warm light surround her and her senses directing her towards Chaelyns stomach.
The warm light begins to show the internal organs and damage done to Chaelyns stomach area.
Ren furrows her eyebrows once she sees a small ball in the females lower stomach
Ren gasps after realizing what it was and looses her concentration and opens her eyes.
"I- she can't." She gasps out, trying to catch the breath that was knocked out of her.
The elder nods.
"This amulet was once used by a tribe before us that was full of female wolves unable to conceive pups naturally and the only way to conceive pups was through these amulets" the elder explains as Ren looks at Chaelyn and covers her mouth.
"How did this amulet even get put into the box with the protection amulets?" Ren asks as the elder sighs.
"Based on how this used to belong to the young brother of Chan's before he left, he must of put the amulet in this box." She says as Ren sighs.
"So, he pricked his finger as well mixing their DNA and activating the amulet?" Ren question's as the elder smiles and nods.
"You sure catch on quick don't you little one" she chuckles and stands up slowly.
"She will wake by tomorrow. The pup grows like any normal human pup would, so in nine months time she will have the pup..." The elder explains and begins to walk out of the hut.

"So......she's pregnant?" Hyunjin asks when sitting down to eat in one of the guys later that night.
Ren nods.
"Chan isn't very happy, I mean he is....but he's more worried about how she will react to this news...We all are" Ren explains as she takes a bite out of the steak Infront of her.
"Hmmm....just knowing Chaelyn. She seems like she'll take the news well.." Hyunjin acknowledged as Ren nodded.
"I hope so..." She whispers as Hyunjin smiles.
"We just have to wait for her to wake, then we can go from there" he says.
*Knock* *Knock *
"Ren? Are you in here?" Changbin asks from outside of the hut.
Ren pauses and then looks towards the door getting up and opening it slowly.
".....whats up?" She asks coldly as Changbin sighs.
"Can I talk to you about something? It's regarding hyunjin." He asks as Ren moves the door and showcases hyunjin, who's staring right at the male Infront of him
"In private." Changbin corrects himself as Ren scoffs.
"Whatever you have to say about him you can tell me right here." She hissed.
Changbin sighs and then shakes his head.
"Fine. I don't think you should be hanging out with someone who just came into the villiage less than three days ago" He proposed as Ren just shook her head.
"He's not a villain Changbin. He was just held captive by the werewolf tribe that took Myra! Shouldn't you be more worried about that than me?" She growled trying to close the door but Changbin holds his hand up keeping it open.
"No. I don't want you to be around him." Changbin spits out angerly as Ren just shakes her head
"Get. Out, you should be more worried about Chaelyn than me." Ren says her voice starting to get shaky out of frustration
"What does Chaelyn have to do with this???" Changbin scoffs as Ren begins to yell.
"SHE HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THIS! GO BE HAPPY WITH HER AND LEAVE ME ALONE" she screams using all of her energy to close the door on his face.
After he leaves she finally breaks down falling to her knees and hyunjin rushes to her side catching her.
Ren begins to sob into his shirt.
She wanted this day to be over already.
Hyunjin just quietly held her patting her head and rocking back and forth to calm her down.
"I hate him. I hate him so much for making me feel this way" she sobs gripping Hyunjins shirt tightly.
"Breathe Ren....you can do this....breathe" he tells her as she begins to slowly start to breathe.
"It will be okay....I promise, tomorrow will be better I promise" he tells her and helps get her to her bed and tucks her in.
"Tomorrow will be better." She repeats and closes her eyes slowly drifting off to sleep, her eyes swollen slightly due to her crying.
Hyunjin smiles and kisses the top of her head and leaves to his own hut only after he takes care of their unfinished food.
Tomorrow had alot to come.
