Chapter 1

It hasn't been long ever since the sudden disappearance of Kim Hongjoong from Seonghwa's life.

It has been days– weeks to be more frank.

Yet for the said male, it felt as if it was only yesterday. Just like in a blink of an eye, the love of his life just suddenly went M.I.A. and leaving him with only a letter and destroying any traces of his whereabouts completely.

Throughout those days, his friends, Mingi and Yunho, and also his possible suitor in the future, Wooyoung, were with him through thick and thin.

The three of them were Seonghwa's energizers. Whenever he sees them, its as if he is able to do anything.

However there would be times that they would be a pain in the ass. Suddenly appearing at the middle of his reading sessions or pinging their groupchat with tons of messages at the dead of night.

"Hyung I know you're inside! Open this door or else I'll tell Yunho to break it down!" He heard a voice at his front door.

He sighs as he closed his book knowing that his friend, Mingi, was serious about breaking down the door if he didn't answer at any moment just like what happened when a few years back.

"I'm going to count to three hyung! If you don't open this I swear!" He heard his voice again, walking faster knowing that the younger was starting to get impatient.

"One!"

"Two!"

"Thre– Oh hi hyung!"

Seonghwa was relieved that he was able to open the door just in the before another disaster happened.

When he opened the door he saw the three of them standing infront with Yunho in a position as if he was ready to break it down when the counting reached three.

"You know Minmin, I wouldn't be shocked if I saw the three of you caused misunderstandings" Seonghwa said with a tint of frustration.

He was not mad at the three– it was nearly impossible to stay mad to tell you the truth. However, with Mingi telling about breaking the door, there was a chance that some neighbors would get a misunderstanding and accidentally call for authorities and tell them about three people threatening to break inside a home.

"I know hyung but we know that you love us and wouldn't let us be left alone." Yunho replied knowing that the older couldn't resist them despite their mischiefs.

Seonghwa released a sigh knowing that the male was right.

"Ha! I knew it hyung! You love us but you're just trying to deny it!" Mingi said trying to provoke the older in a playful manner.

"How are you so sure Minmin~ The last time that I remember is you ate almost every cookie that I made despite almost demolishing my kitchen." Seonghwa bantered back making Mingi look shocked.

"How did you know?! I made sure there wasn't any proof!" Mingi replied, caught on the act.

"It would have been a flawless clean up if it wasn't for Yuyu and Woo telling me about it~" Seonghwa replied making Mingi look at the said males.

"You traitors! I trusted you!" Mingi said, quickly walking towards Yunho and shaking him by the shoulders while Wooyoung was standing there, laughing at the two.

Seonghwa looked at them with disbelief. He couldn't believe that these three were his friends.

The three of them were quite energetic and there would be times that it would be hard to keep up with their antics.

But despite those instances, Seonghwa still loves them wholeheartedly and would try to keep up with them.

"Okay okay you guys cut it out before anyone gets hurt." Seonghwa said, walking closer as he separated Yunho and Mingi from each other.

"Yeah we get it mom~ Just chill! You don't need to be too strict most of the times." Wooyoung replied, his arm leaning towards Seonghwa whose giving him glares.

Seonghwa pushed the said male lightly away from him as he rolled his eyes and drifted closer to Yunho.

"You know what Woo, Yuyu is now my favorite!" He said, clinging his arms into Yunho's making the said male flustered at the sudden action.

"Hyung you can't do that!" Wooyoung whined, looking at the older with puppy eyes knowing that the older couldn't resist it.

"Yes I can Woo~ you're staring tactics won't work on me this time!" Seonghwa replied playfully making Wooyoung sulk at the response of the older male.

"H-hyung you can't do that! Please for me own safety! What if Woo waits for me inside my apartment and never let me see tomorrow! What will happen t-"

"Thats what you get when you become the favorite! With great power comes with big responsibilities Yuyu~ always remember~" Mingi suddenly said wanting to join in with teasing Yunho.

"Don't tell me you're also betraying me Mingi! Don't let them influence you!" Yunho shouted as he tried to get away from the older who was still holding his arms wanting to stop the stares– glares rather, that came from Wooyoung.

"Don't use that line on me Jeong Yunho! You started it first and now karma is going back at you!" Mingi replied, adding more gas to the flame instead of helping the said male.

"It's fine Mingi because I know deep in his heart I'm always his favorite!" Wooyoung suddenly stated making Seonghwa look at him with one of his eyebrow raised.

"Are you sure about that? The last time I have remembered you were a menace. How can you say that Yunho isn't my favorite~" Seonghwa replied once again.

Seonghwa couldn't help himself but find the said male cute because of the pout that formed on his face.

"Fine! Whatever hyung, Mingi is my favorite now!" Wooyoung replied as he clinged on Mingi just like how the older was doing with Yunho.

"Sure Woo. If thats what you want~ Lets go Yuyu." Seonghwa replied pulling Yunho with him as if they were leaving the two.

"Hyung you're so mean!!!" Wooyoung whined once again chasing after the two with Mingi by his side.
