Chapter 4

Quick update before I rest!

Not the best chapter but I do hope you enjoy! Its a little late due to the overloaded works that I needed to do, but here it is!

Just like what always happens, Wooyoung was in Seonghwa's room once again for their weekly 'bonding time' together.

They were supposed to have a half-date half chitchat outside. However, there was a turn of events that lead them to be where they are right now.

"Hey, Hyung, when are you going to be finished with your case studies?" Wooyoung asked as he looked at the older male who was focused on the folder that he was holding, completely forgetting the existence of the other person who was in his room.

It was like the words of Wooyoung went inside one of his ears and proceeded to exit to the other side because a few seconds had passed by and Seonghwa wasn't showing any signs of responding.

Wooyoung released a deep sigh as he looked at the older impatiently.

He would be fine if it only happened once or twice. Wooyoung could understand that but it was already the third time this week. Whenever he would come over after a detailed plan of their day, it would mostly end up with them in this very room.

He would mostly be looking around Seonghwa's room or looking at his phone as the older drifts away into his world, not letting go of the texts that he was reading.

"Do you have any performance tasks coming up? I could leave you alone for a few hours so you can focus." Wooyoung said knowing that bothering Seonghwa was no use and giving him space would be a better choice at this moment.

He heard the older release a heavy sigh before he heard him placing down the file he was reading carefully on the table.

"Not really Woo. I was one of the first five that was chosen but it just bothers me that what if I made a mistake- or even worse! I said something wrong." Seonghwa voiced his worries and concerns that was bugging him for the past days making Wooyoung feel bad about the older.

"Did your professor tell your scores?" Wooyoung asked directing his attention to Seonghwa who was still seated on his chair.

"He didn't but it just makes me nervous because he didn't say any comment after it." Seonghwa replied making Wooyoung remember something.

"Didn't you say that he was the professor with a harsh mouth?" There was a pause in Wooyoung's words, asking for Seonghwa's confirmation.

Seonghwa nodded, telling him nonverbally that he was right. With the confirmation that he got, he couldn't help but crack a smile at the older making the said male confused.

"Congrats Hwa, You did it almost flawlessly! Your professor had no comments because it was good. I do feel that your colleagues are in shock because of your professor's actions!" Wooyoung said, assuring the older that he has nothing to worry about.

"Thanks Woo, you had been with me for the past weeks and I all that I did was ignore and make you wait for hours..." Seonghwa said, feeling guilty about his actions. "I promise that I'll make it up to you starting now! You know what, how about we go to your favourite place tomorrow?" Seonghwa suggested as he stood up and went to his bed and laid down beside Wooyoung.

Wooyoung wrapped his arms around the older making him shocked knowing that it is something that he doesn't do a lot.

"Hyung, we should go to a place that you like rather than what I like because we always do mine and I think its now the time to do yours." Wooyoung said, completely rejecting Seonghwa's idea.

"Are you sure? I don't want you becoming bored. Plus! Seeing you happy makes me happy already." Seonghwa said, hugging Wooyoung back.

"Well, the thing that I wanted to do is to know about what you like then!" Wooyoung said, leaving Seonghwa without any choice but to comply.

"Ha I got you! Now, what do you want to do?" Wooyoung continued to ask since the older still had some hesitations.

"I had always been curious to do this but... I wanted to tr- just... Just never mind about it." Seonghwa said, changing his mind.

"Hyung I want to hear about it! I do think that it would be fun!" Wooyoung said, encouraging the older.

Seonghwa released a sigh, trying to push away any doubts left in his system.

"Well... I had always wanted to try working as a barista. The latte arts that I say on social media looked interesting..." Seonghwa said as he looked at Wooyoung's eyes, looking for any signs of boredom or any lack if interest.

"Thats nice hyung! Are there any places that you like to try entering?" Wooyoung replied with enthusiasm making Seonghwa felt relieved.

Wooyoung was not going to judge him.

"I haven't thought of it yet but the coffee shop that we always go to sounds like a good option— but only if they're accepting!" Seonghwa said, having enough courage to finally open up.

There was a moment of silence before Seonghwa started speaking again.

"But is it alright for you?" He asked.

"What do you mean by that hyung?" Wooyoung asked with a confused expression plastered all over his face because of the sudden question.

"Its just that... If ever I get accepted, I would have less time to bond with you... College already takes nearly all of my time and if I add an interest of mine, I fear that I'd have no more time left... Or maybe, we'll become distant from each other..." Seonghwa said, avoiding the younger's stare, not wanting to see the disappointed look.

"Hyung, I know that you're always busy and its not a requirement to always spend your free time with me." Wooyoung paused as tried to make eye contact with Seonghwa.

"You're free to choose what you want to do. You don't have to think about me that much! I'll always be here to support whatever decision that you make— well, as long as its legal of course." Wooyoung said making Seonghwa feel the heavy weight on his shoulders fade away.

He was still hesitation but he regained his previous courage to look at Wooyoung once again.

Their eyes were locked into each other, the younger's face had an infectious smile making Seonghwa do the same.

He saw the younger opened his mouth once again to tell him something.

"You know hyung, seeing you happy with something you love makes me happy already."

FINALLY ANOTHER UPDATE

I'm not going to make this any longer sooooo

The next update? I'm not sure :'D because after a whole month of hell and suffering, were preparing for a musical play (I joined two clubs 😩 thanfully there other club is not planning any activities YET) and I'll be busy for the next 2 months (not really but we can never be sure)

But other than that, thats all!!! I hope you enjoyed the chapters and I want to thank all of you for being really patient with the updates T.T
