I'm back again! After a few weeks.
There's nothing much to say tbh but I do hope you enjoy the chapter!I decided to remove some parts and just go directly to the part where— ( no spoilers)
But anyways updates are still slow but I hope that it would be faster than before!
Thats all? On to the story!
~~~~~~~~A few days have passed by since the day of the sudden confession. However, a lot of things started to change but at the same time, some continued to stay the same.
Wooyoung being Wooyoung, supported the older male in him finally becoming a barista. Although there were times when they barely had time for each other but at least after Seonghwa's shift, they would mostly walk home together until they needed to part in different directions.
It became a weekly thing for them. There were times when Wooyoung wasn't able to wait for the older's shift to end but in return, he would send Seonghwa a message or give him a call once he finally got home.
Just like always, Wooyoung was there, currently walking in the direction of the mini cafe where Seonghwa worked. He decided to arrive at a much earlier time to surprise the older with some flowers in his grasp.
The streets were semi-crowded since it was already becoming dark and most of the people are already in their homes or they're currently on their night shift.
When Wooyoung arrived at the shop, he entered and saw Seonghwa's coworker who saw him most of the time whenever he went to see Seonghwa.
When he saw Wooyoung when the door opened, he waved at the said male and left the counter since there were only a few customers left.
"Wooyoung? My friend, it seems like you're a few minutes late." Said Seonghwa's coworker.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked, confused. Did something happen to Seonghwa?
"He left his shift earlier and left with a friend of his. it was Ong.. Jeo... Jongho I think." He replied.
"Thanks for telling me." Wooyoung said as he started to turn around and leave the shop once Seonghwa's coworker replied to him with a goodbye.
Wooyoung left and went back to go home but when he arrived at the door there was a package at his door steps.
He looked at the information written in the paper that was attached to it and saw that the package was for him.
It didn't have the name of the giver and it only had his information.
'did he bought something a few days ago?' Wooyoung was unsure but since it was delivered for him, opening it wouldn't be bad right?
He immediately went inside and placed the unknown package in his table in the living room as he quickly changed into his pajamas.
He took some scissors from the kitchen before going back to open the package.
He slowly opened it, making sure that he doesn't damage whatever the content it has inside.
But it felt odd for Wooyoung because when he was already half way of opening it, there was an odor that smelled really off— it smelled like rotten to be specific.
Because of that smell, it made him hesitant to completely open it and see what was inside.
"Just calm down Wooyoung. Maybe someone sent you some fish and it just wasn't preserved properly... Right?" He attempted to reassure himself but the doubts in his mind was not helping at all.
He doesn't have a choice but to open it right? He would never know what it is if he just threw it away.
Thats why he gathered enough courage and had some deep breaths before he opened the package.
To his surpise, his gut feelings were right.
It felt sickening as the odor starts to spread much stronger in his surroundings, finally free from the small box that contained it for who knows how long.
Whatever was causing the foul smell was still unknown since it was covered by a wrapper with a letter beside it.
Wooyoung noticed the letter that was neatly written but he wasn't able to understand it.
It was in another language.
He was about to just throw away everything until he noticed that there was a part in the letter that had 'Hwa' in it.
"Why is there Hwa in the letter? Is this person talking about Seonghwa or Hwa like the flower... Or even worse— rage or anger..." Wooyoung blurted to himself, loud enough for his voice to echo throughout the house— although it didn't really matter since he was alone so no one was there to hear him.
"Should I send this to Seonghw— wait nevermind... I don't think it would be a good idea. Maybe Yunho wouldn't be busy." He said to himself, completely forgetting about the other contents of the package as his attention has fully shifted on the letter.
He took out his phone and decided to send Yunho a message.
Wooyo
> Hey Yuyu, are you busy at the moment?Yuyu
> Not really
> Whats up?Wooyo
> I have a little favor if thats alright with you
> But if you're busy its okay! Its not really a big dealYuyu
> Spill
> I'm not doing anything so I'm all earsWooyo
> So
> Well...
> How do I say this
> There was a package in my doorstep earlier and I saw a letter inside it
> Its in a different language and maybe. ONLY MAYBE you could understand it?Yuyu
> Hmm
> I'll check
> Could you take a picture and send it here?Wooyo
> Sure wait for a secondWooyoung replied before he looked at the note again to snap a picture.
He didn't tell the older male about everything that happened since he didn't want the said male to worry.
He quickly sent the picture, not wanting to make the male wait.
Wooyo
> Here it is
> *Insert picture*Yuyu
> Thanks Woo! I'll try to translate it as best as I canWooyo
> Thank you too Yuyu! Your the best!Yuyu
> Yeah yeah I know
> Now shooo I'll talk to you later!Wooyo
> Okay okay
> I'll go
> Talk to you later YuyuWooyoung turned his phone off and looked at the letter and the package once again.
He really hopes that whoever sent this didn't have any bad intentions in mind.
