Halloween is an important holiday for Harry. It's the day his parents died, the day Him Ron and Hermione became the golden trio, the day the chamber of secrets was opened again, the day that Padfoot broke into the Gryffindor tower, and the day Harry was picked to be a triwizard champion. It's an important holiday all around right? I mean, even for the whole wizarding world. Halloween is the day that Vodlemort was defeated and you could live again. But...did anyone ever realize that Padfoot broke into Gryffindor tower to try and kill Wormtail on the same day that James and Lily died? He couldn't wait any longer. He had been shipped off to Azkaban after being framed, he had left Moony...all alone, he had left Harry all alone, and he had been tricked. Tricked. Wormtail is the reason that Lily and James are dead. And he is the only person who knows that. But...he thinks that he killed Wormtail, so why does he have to get out of Azkaban? Moony was never going to forgive him...Harry wouldn't remember him and he thought that he didn't deserve to live a normal life after he took that away from James and Lily. But...when he finally finds a reason to escape Azkaban...he knows that he has to be careful. He knows that he can't get caught. He knows that he can't reveal himself to anyone, not even to Moony. But on Halloween night...13 years after his friend betrayed him, leading to the death of his best friend...he just can't take it anymore. He needs revenge. He needs to kill Peter...for killing his best friend. For killing Lily. For killing Harry's parents. For killing his youth. For killing Moony's youth.
