Exhaustion from lack of sleep was taking its toll on Jimin but he tried to stay awake. He tried to stretched his neck and keep sipping on his coffee mug to keep his eyes from dropping.

"Good morning"

"Hey Rei, what's up?" he responds trying to widen his eyes.

"Are you ok?"

"Yes, just lack of sleep"

You hear Guk's voice greeting everyone who just arrived. You look at him looking at you and smile flirtatiously. You smile back shyly and look down to your computer when he stopped behind Jimin massaging his back. You give him a slight look and his eyes still on you. He has this habit of staring at you for a long time until you give him the attention he wants.

"Morning" he greeted you

"Morning!" you replied.

"If this is how you flirt every morning Guk, I will allow it." Jimin said while asking Guk to put more pressure while massaging him.

"Come on" Guk said to him giving him a light slap on his cheeks and they both laugh about it.

Their friendship is very deep. You can only compare it to your friendship with Rosé, comforting, honest and warm.

This is how it has been with you two, he is always warm and gentle towards you. Every day you anticipate a flirty greeting from him with a wink in a straight face while walking fast inside his office. From time to time, you two caught each other stealing a glance in each other from his office window. Days goes by quickly and he has been true to his words. He gave you the time you needed to finish what he asked you but at some point, you felt like he is being pressured from this project.

"Guk, I understand that you are being considerate here, but we have a deadline to meet, you need to adjust this time line you gave me. This isn't going to work" Jin said

"Ahhrgg! I told you this before Heong, but I'll keep you posted alright we aren't late yet" he responded like he isn't bothered at all.

"Yah! Guk, we know already, Jimin told us everything. Now you're trying to slack at work to cover her up." He shaking his head in disappointment. "I'm starting not to like her"

"Heong, she has her reason don't look at it that way. I am to blame here alright" Guk trying to protect you at his best.

The conference room door open after a knock and Jimin went it, Guk was surprised that he brought you there with him.

"Jimin" Guk looks at him questioning why he's with you. He gave him a look like he has been forced to do so.

"Heong, this is Rei, Rei meet our friend, I mean our Chief legal officer Kim Namjoon and the director of Animation Kim Seok Jin.

"Good morning it is my pleasure to meet you?"

"Aha! Finally, we are so happy to meet you" Joonie said making a hand shake with you.

Guk is confused of what's is happening he is just staring at you and your hands with Joonie.

"So, its you, the blank person has now a face" Jin stealing your hand from Joonie. Guk just closed his eyes and look down bend his head like he's having a headache then look at Jimin who just gave him a force smile.

"Hi, nice to meet you" you said.

You heard everything from outside that's why Jimin immediately open the door to notify the members. Guk is starting get furious and felt betrayed by not informing him of this matter.
